If I opened the valve all of the way, it cut off the flow. The first 3/4 turn allowed gas flow. I wish that the dial aimed the opposite way or would swivel. This worked great for my Honda's AC, but was difficult to add freon to my refrigerator.

Needed something to charge the ac on my f150 and didn’t want to buy one of the expensive kits. Bought this and got my Freon for 6 dollar a bottle at autozone. It punctured well no leaks and recharged it fairly quickly. The gauge is nice so you know how much you need to add.

This refrigerant charge hose is straight forward and easy to use. Saves you lots of money by doing it yourself instead of taking vehicle to shop for AC refrigerant refill.Important note: make sure to check refrigerant type your car uses as this will forcibly r134a. It will not fit r1234yf

The hose and connectors are robust, and connected to both the can of refrigerant and the car's low pressure inlet easily and securely. The gauge worked and is easy to read. As it's well made and not a single use item this will save me a good deal of money!

This unit works as it should. The hose is very short yet long enough to watch the pressure while you shake the container to recharge the system. Why pay for an elaborate setup when this is all you need!

I have 3 older Charge hoses, but not one would puncher the new cans of Freon. Of course I have 30+ year old tools that still gets the job done. I only wish things would be made simple with quality, but those days are long gone. This charge hose seems to be sturdy and no leaks so that was a plus. The only thing I did not like is it was shorter than I expected, but that's because I did not read the measurements.
