This set of Aurifil threads has a good mix of colors. I wanted it for stutching down appliqué shapes with coordinating colors. I know there are clear threads or invisible threads, but my machine tends to have tension issues with nylon threads.I thought that the price was right for the number of colors and thread quality. I'm a big Aurifil fan since I first tried Aurifil thread as it's not as linty as many other thread brands.

I’m sure the thread is fine, but if you’re giving it for a gift, the packaging didn’t look very nice.

excellent thread... my first time using the 50wt with Aurifil. its EXCELLENT with quilts. I really was able to tella difference. They are expensive....but I had to try them so this was a great start.

These colors are beautiful. I use Aurifil 50 wt for sashiko since I can have arm length strands on my needle with no tangles. I am looking forward to using colors in my work.
