Perfect small fans just recommended to use a relay for each to wire them.

Measured the air velocity coming out of this fan and then coverted that to CFM by calculating the area of the fan minus the hub diamter and found that the max air velocity was 1300ft/min which calculates to 1040 cfm. The velocity also dropped off near the tips of the blades so the CFM is likely even lower then this. It seems of okay quality just beware that that actual CFM is only about 1000 cfm on this thing.

Nice looking pair of fans. Just arrived, so I've only done a test hookup, but they run well with good air movement and seem well balanced. I'll be using these for solar-powered shed ventilation, with a PWM controller to reduce the speed and current draw. Just remember that if you're going to PUSH air (positive to black lead) you MUST turn the fan blade over or you'll get very low air flow! The concave side of the blades must face the air direction. Failure to reverse the blade probably accounts for many of the poor reviews with this type of fan.

Top quality for the price- compare these to other 12" fans these are just the same in function and build. The big difference is the price is by far the best compare with other sellers that get greedy and want a huge return on their product. I shopped for what I see as a good fan and not wanting to have to pay thru the nose. I found these and have used them to cool my 2013 Ford F150 Platinum 3.5 eco boost that Ford has 2 puller fans behind an array of radiators - coolant - AC condenser - PS & tranny coolers & intercooler for the turbos. I mounted the 2 side by side as a pusher fan to aid in cooling here in Phoenix. works like a charm - built a 1x1 steel bridle to mount fans used the 4 buckles they came with from seller. I have used many over the last 48 years as a FoMoCo tech & these are good fans.

These fans are garbage. After vertical mounting they may fail after a month or more. For me, I mounted them horizontal. They slow down and don't blow much air after so long of use after only a month of having them. After the fans run for a while, it slows down to where it hardly blows. Something is wrong with it. It's VERY noisy when it slows down to spinning at that speed.THEN when I tap them, they go back to working at normal speed but then after waiting a while longer, it slows back down again and the noise like an annoying helicopter comes back until I tap it again. I have to tap on it every 5-10 minutes. What is this crud? Not a good design.I use them as blower fans for me and they are mounted on the open ceiling window of my RV. I'm going to have a talk with the guy that posted about using them as RV fans. They aren't any good. I don't recommend. I thought they were just so awesome at first, but seeing now they are no good.

Update 2015/08/31: Still going strong. No overheating all summer, even sitting dead still in a traffic jam in the 90 degree sun.Use: I got the twin pack of 12" fans to replace the belt-driven fan in my '88 Dakota after I hit a deer and the fan blades hit the radiator. The Good:They fit almost perfectly across the radiator side by sideLightweight, thin, but decently powerful for such a low profile fanEasy to configure however you need them (push-pull configs, pull-pull, whatever you need)The Bad: As others noted, the mounting kit included was not up to par. Brittle, weak, didn't even bother trying to use it.Other thoughts: Aside from the mounting kit, I can't find a lot to complain about. Pick up a couple Hayden 210 mounting kits and you'll be golden. I'll update my review in a few months on whether they're still functioning or not.
