Your cart is empty.Modern cars are designed with lower hood lines, making them much more susceptible to damage from road debris than vehicles with higher front ends. The best way to protect your car from the hazards of daily driving is to shield it with the Carflector, the hood deflector designed specifically for cars like yours. Its low-profile design prevents chipping, dings, and dents while complementing the contours of your car or CUV. Engineered to custom-fit the contours of your hood based on your car's year, make, and model, the Carflector will stop road debris from pelting your vehicle and prevent front-end damage. Available in dark smoke, impact-resistant acrylic, and proudly made in the USA with global materials for cars and CUVs.

Fits great! Lines up with pre-drilled holes already there, just pop the plastic rivets out, line up holes and place screws provided with deflector. Looks nice! Hoping to protect my hood and windshield from bugs/rocks 👍🏻

Maybe fake? I dunno. Don't care either because it is high quality and fits perfectly. On a black edge it blends right in

looks good and was fairly easy to install. Pick a point on each side of the hood or front of the car to align each edge with so that it is even on both sides of the shield. again take your time.

The item is just as described, and it looks great. I hope to get some years of use out of it. The install was I cinch, just make sure to take care when removing the plastic rivet you do NOT want to tear the rubber seal.. I used a plastic trim/rivet tool, which I also ordered on Amazon. So far, no problems, it came with 4 rubber bumpers to stick on your hood, I did not use them, I did not want to stick anything on my hood. I don't believe anything will hit it enough hard for the shield to hoy your bumper.

Fits perfectly on my 2018 Ford Edge. Easy to install, no hassles. At first glance, while holding the "BUG-DEFLECTOR" (I call it) up to check if/how the mounting holes will match up, you might get the impression that it won't mount/match up correctly. BUT THAT'S JUST NOT THE CASE AND IT'S MISLEADING.The mounting holes on the deflector are cutout and located extremely precise, so the fit is absolutely perfect, which is something I (you) don't normally expect. Often times, products are made or molded to fit with a little bit of "wiggle room" or to accommodate a series of different models/applications. Not with this company!FOUR FINAL NOTES: 1. Try to use a tool commonly referred to as a plastic or nylon "interior door panel removal tool" to pop out the plastic rivet-like fasteners from the four holes (where you will be mounting the "Bug-Deflector to) holding the engine compartment lid/lip black rubber gasket. This will allow you to save the fragile fasteners in case you ever need to take the Bug-Deflector off in the future for some reason, PLUS YOU ARE LESS LIKELY TO TEAR THE GASKET in the removal process. Remember... you are only removing the four fasteners where the mounting hardware will go, NOT THE WHOLE GASKET AND ALL FASTENERS! If you have to use a flat tipped screwdriver, be extremely careful to not damage or tear your gasket as you "gouge out" the plastic fasteners.2. The hardware (metal screws) are what I call "slightly" self-tapping screws, so I recommend that you align them as perfectly as you can to screw in "STRAIGHT" or you run the risk of possibly stripping out the car hood-lip sheet metal or the screws will thread in crooked and not tighten down flush. This is important because the screw heads will interfere with the car hood closing and latching flush/properly (see note THREE).3. Pay special attention to get the sequence correct when installing the packaged hardware with regard to placing the "nylon washer with the hood gasket and screw. If you get it wrong, not only does it look weird, but you can ruin or tear the hood gasket when tightening the screw down. DO NOT 'TORQUE' OR OVER-TIGHTEN THE SCREW AGAINST THE NYLON WASHER OR YOU WILL DEFINITELY TEAR THE HOOD GASKET!4. (finally) You must follow the instructions exactly for "RESETTING" the Car Engine Hood STOP BUMPERS!! Use a small dot of liquid white-out correction fluid, if you have to... to set the bumpers by turning them COUNTER-CLOCKWISE, to the NEW HEIGHT adjustment, or your hood will not close and/or latch properly. If you re-set the bumpers correctly, your engine compartment hood will close like the saying goes..."like-a-bug-in-a-rug" (two of them, located along the top forward edge, above the radiator area of the engine compartment specifically on a 2018 Ford Edge, as opposed to the more common location of one on each side near the front fender area of the engine compartment... if they are like the ones on our Ford Edge, i.e. black colored dense round foam cap-like appearance, to match the engine compartment interior paint scheme, like mine are... they might take you a second or two to spot them at first glance). Have fun!It doesn't take as long to install the "Bug-deflector", as it does to read this whole review. I'm just trying to be helpful here.

I don't usually write reviews but this product is really great (no i don't work for them and honestly never heard of them!) Bought this for my new (used) 2015 Ford Edge Titanium not really knowing if it would fit or look good. I am extremely Impressed!!! great quality, Great fit, and most importantly extremely easy installation! Instructions were clear and to the point took a whopping 10 minutes! and its rock solid. Only one tiny flaw..comes with these little clear rubber "bumpers" that you're supposed to stick on your hood. Well they don't really stick and I really cant see the point anyway. Other than that...Great Product! 5 stars yes, 1 out of 10?...10 plus
