Lawnmower wasn’t charging the battery and now it works. Was easy to install and saved a lot of $$$ vs the potential to have to cart the mower off and pay someone to repair it.

This part was almost identical to the original part. It installed easily, and worked perfectly. If it lasts, and does not fail, I'll give it 5 stars. it is about 1/6th the price of the OEM part.

The similar rectifier-voltage regulator list for $90.00 !! That's right nearly a hundred dollars. I purchased this regulator-rectifier and with 3 crimp-on connectors, It was charging 13.9 volts instantly! The first thing you need to check with a Volt meter, is on the SC input, measure the pair of wires from the stator, inside the engine. It should read between 17-18 volts, A.C. . The red wire should go to your Positive side of your battery. The old screw also needs to be replaced with a slightly longer one. You Tube has a couple of Great how -To videos to save you around $200-400 bucks!
