This is my second Airlock brush. The first, purchased and used for scale model building is still in use after 2+ years of service.I opted for the trigger type this time as it is easier on the wrist and finger and to me gives a better overall grip to the brush.The new brush is absolutely great to use. The volume flow is adjustable and the brush can be used as dual or single stage. The spray (tamiya acrylic, properly thinned with water/iso mix) is controlled and very fine. The pressure boost activated by the button on the base was substantial and closer to what I got from a compressor based airbrush.Clean-up is a breeze and very quick.Charging was quick and uses a USB c connector.I was concerned with the plastic paint cups but they are well constructed and easy to clean. There is an assortment of sizes and all but the smallest size has lids.One of weak points of all brushes is the needle and spray head, the needles get bent and the heads get lost. I'm not sure if airlock supports the brush with replacement parts or different size needles. I was able to buy replacement needles and heads for the original airlock but this new one is constructed in a different manner in the that the valve sets inside a screw on cap. Pressure is maintained with an o ring and not screwed into the body. I'm going to email for parts .The brush I received was factory sealed and contained all the listed parts.Bottom line...if you want a nice portable brush, this is a solid buy. I highly recommend it.

I really like this trigger-style, self-contained airbrush. The trigger makes painting easy to control and the lack of hoses keeps you free to paint, not fiddling with hoses. And with no standard compressor, it is quiet.

Receive the airbrush the first time and couldn't get it to spray, plus was missing a piece. So amazon had me return the item and sent a replacement free. Only for the second item to still not work. We did all the troubleshooting suggestions and still nothing. Could not get it to spray. And because it was the second time we tried and there was little to no response from the vendor,I don't even think they read what the problem was just gave c a textbook response to troubleshoot. We returned the item for the last time.

The one I was sent came with a broken needle. This made the spray completely inconsistent. It would randomly get clogged and burst some drips onto my piece. I am assuming that this was all because of the broken needle. I am returning it and will repurchase. I will come back with an update.

Wow...it's amazing how well this little airbrush works for plastic models. Seems to have plenty of air pressure for my needs. I'm very happy with it. Best to always keep it cleaned out.
