Garbage. My first one was basically dead on arrival. I asked for a replacement and the second one let me enter the various setup options but would never open the door. My only conclusion is that there is no quality control to speak of with regard to this product. I thought the price was too low and it was. Wasted a lot of my time with this junk.

I was really hesitated about this product however the price was right and I was wrong absolute junk wasted 3 hours to make it work unsuccessfully junk.

I learned that this product does not like having a charging cable plugged in. Like the solar panel that it comes with. I learned the hard way after I asked for a replacement thinking the product was faulty. I learned that if the device is not plugged in to the solar panel or power supply it will function as it should. Not sure why it does it but it does. Another thing I did was turn up the pinch level. I set it higher for colder temps which means more power to the door. I just set it late enough when I know all of them are in. The light setting is also good. I installed the solar panel next to it but it’s not plugg in. I figure I would look at it every so often and when the internal battery is running low I’d just plug it in during the day and then remove it.

This was easy to setup and the display was easy to read. It kept having trouble functioning with the cold weather though. I ended up taking it back off and stuck it on the shelf. Once it warms up a bit more I will try switching it back on again and see if that was the issue. Overall It did function but maybe just too cold for it to work properly.

Worst auto door ever. Company lies in description. Product is not waterproof or snow proof. First snow storm the first one died and I lost 3 chickens. Also states it worked up to -15 degrees. Another lie! Stopped working last night in 22 degrees 5 more chickens gone. NOT EVEN NEGATIVE TEMPERATURES! This is falsely advertised junk! DO NOT BUY!

I have ordered three different ones of these and find this one to be my favorite thus far. It's very easy to set up, appears to be a safe option for passage, seems to be built quite nicely by way of design and integrity of products used. Used. Functionally it should serve its purpose well for what I'm needing. I am using as an alternative use in a patio system.

This is an excellent door. The battery can be solar-charged and is said to keep a charge for up to six months. I used the USB for the initial battery charge. The door had stopped working and I thought the door was defective. Upon reading the instructions, I found that cold weather affects the battery and the tension level should be adjusted to number five. I had it set to number two. Problem solved. The door was easy to install and has not been problematic.
