We have a fairly small refrigerator and shelf space usually gets taken up fairly quick. We usually purchase eggs in a 2 doz flat. They take a good bit of space on their own. Plus, you really can't sit much of anything on top for fear of breaking the eggs. So when you get more eggs, you need something that will hold more than 2 doz eggs or you really haven't accomplished much. Lastly, an egg carton that only has one egg takes the same amount of space as a full carton. These seem like they will do a pretty good job. But it will take a little getting used to as well. While loading the first time, I tried putting an egg on the top and letting it roll down to the bottom. It did, but I missed stopping it before it reached the end, so it also jumped the end and wound up on the floor. So until you learn the do's and don'ts, you probably gonna break more eggs than needed for that omelet. So will we continue to think the extra effort to load this is worth it? Only time will tell. But it does work and is handy, just a little trouble loading. Since that first egg jumped the end, I can't just get an egg without putting my hand at the end so no more can jump out. All those behind the next in line pushing against each other just seems like it could easily dump a few if not careful.

This 4.5-star automatic rolling egg storage container has been a game-changer for organizing my fridge, but it loses half a star because it only fits large eggs. Here’s the breakdown:What I Love:Sleek & Space-Saving – Fits perfectly in my fridge door, freeing up shelf space while keeping eggs secure.Convenient Rolling Design – Eggs dispense smoothly one at a time—no more fumbling with cartons!Sturdy & Easy to Clean – The durable plastic wipes down easily, and the lid stays secure.Visible Egg Count – Lets me track how many eggs are left at a glance. The Catch:Large Eggs Only – My farm-fresh medium eggs get stuck and don’t roll properly. Double-check your egg size!Capacity – It holds about 21 eggs, so big families might need two.Lastly, A fantastic organizer for large-egg buyers, but not universal. If your eggs fit, it’s a must-have!

Love this idea in theory! Has a couple of caveats in execution. We use a lot of eggs, about 3-4 dozen a week, so I prefer to have them out of the cartons. We've used another design previously, but with both my husband and I using them, we often ended up using newer eggs before finishing the older ones and the contraption seemed to take up more space than necessary, which is a big downside with a family of 6 and a small side-by-side fridge. This slender model solved out space issue and provides a solution to using older eggs first by having them roll down. They even thought through loading issues, so that's easy, too. My only concern was if the eggs would crack while they roll down. After several weeks of use, we have had that issue a couple of times, but it's rare. With caution, I still think it's worth using.

Love this egg storer. Frees up space in the fridge by storing the eggs vertically. Stick to large eggs like they say and you'll find the operation smooth. The most I've fit is 28 eggs. Comes with a small level and sliding plastic piece that you can move along the bottom to make sure the whole thing is level. You may or may not need the sliding piece depending on the levelness of your shelf. You can see it in use in the third picture. See the instructions for using the level. The egg storer comes in two halve that you mate by pressing together. Quite easy but make sure you press hard enough to bring the pieces completely together with no gaps in the seam between the two. This is a well-made device that makes a big difference in my fridge.

We have been trying to make more room in the fridge. We had purchased some organizer trays and containers. The egg container was an older open rectangular receptacle. The eggs would double stack and takes up more room. The eggs roller is only a little wider than the egg itself. The roller is very easy to put together. It holds a couple dozen eggs. It is so nice to take an egg out of the end of the roller without having to dig in the old tray. It takes up so much less room because it is tall not wide. The eggs roll and do not break. This is a great egg holder.I highly recommend it.

This is a nice, basic egg sorter. We have chickens that lay every day, so it's hard to know which eggs are older to use first. This keeps them in rotation so we always use the oldest first. It was easy to click together, and it has a little bubble level to make sure it is level so that the eggs roll correctly. There is a little drop between each level, but none of my eggs have cracked from the drop. Since we don't have to refrigerate our eggs, this is just on our counter, and it's slim footprint doesn't take much space at all. It might be too tall for some fridge shelves, but it will definitely fit on the shelf the milk fits on. I wish this came with more than one, or fit more eggs, because with the amount of eggs we are getting, we could use multiple of these!

I’ve tried a few different ways to store eggs in the fridge, from basic trays to stackable containers, but they always seem to take up more space than they should. This design actually makes sense and doesn’t take up much room! It’s vertical, deep rather than wide, and holds a lot without eating up fridge shelf space. Works well overall, but there is a catch - it only works consistent with large eggs. Mediums work ok but don't always roll smoothly, and you may have to poke a line to get them to move. As for small eggs, that won’t work well. The rolling function itself is simple. Eggs go in the back, roll forward as you take them out, and the sloped design keeps them moving. It comes with a spacer to tilt it forward just enough to make sure the eggs roll properly and even a tiny level to help ensure you get the right angle - nice little extra that I wasn’t expecting. (The mini level is very cute) Once set up, it works as expected—as long as your eggs are big enough to roll consistently. Medium eggs sometimes hesitate, and anything smaller will be a problem.Build quality is as expected - lightweight plastic but not flimsy. It clips together, and you might have to exert a little pressure to get all the joints to snap together tight.Capacity is 24+, but I was able to get 30 medium/large eggs in it, and they still rolled decently. For large eggs, it’s spot on. If you have backyard eggs that vary in size, just know that smaller ones will jam up each other.Final Thought - simple idea and design, but really appreciate the vertical deep design, as opposed to horizontal. Arguably not perfect given it doesn’t accommodate different size eggs very well, but is a non-issue if you use large eggs. It’s also available in different tier hights but be mindful that you can put things on top of it.

This egg holder worked out really well for us. It saves a ton of space as it’s so narrow but holds up to 28 large eggs. It’s a simple design yet works effectively. It came in as two halves and you just push the halves together. It’s a tight fit and I noticed one of the connectors bending a little. Glad it was flexible and I just bent it back straight and pushed them together. The quality of the unit itself seems really good. It’s made of smooth durable plastic. The holder fits the eggs well. I like that it came with a level and a little extra shim to install on the bottom in case the shelf isn’t level, which I needed to use. Functionality it works well, you take an egg out and they all slide down smoothly. It’s super easy to fill. They have large enough cutouts on all the levels to push the eggs through. The design along with the sides made it feel pretty stable as I move the holder from island to fridge. Lastly, it’s pretty tall, standing at 9” and add 1 3/4” if there’s eggs on the top level. You should measure the shelf to make sure it will fit where you want to use it. I have it on my top shelf.

Great idea great design. This can hold about two dozen eggs. The plastic itself is a little flimsy, it came in two pieces and putting together by clicking on, it's not easy to click on because they don't align properly, you will have to apply some force to put them together. Once it's put together it works nicely, the eggs slide to the bottom without cracking.

Gives me so much more room in my fridge. So far it’s working great with different size eggs.

Out all the egg-rollers that I have seen this one by far is the coolest looking. Its idea not only looks cleaver but also high-tech. And then there is the word “automatic” in its name too. It is automatic in a sense that it is gravity powered. Each tier or level of this egg-roller slopes in opposite direction of the next tier or level. Starting from the top, the slopes go like this: backward, forward, backward, forward. Eggs are dispensed by only the bottom tier. As you pick up an egg, all other eggs move backward or forwards by one egg-width depending on the slope of their tier. Although it looks like a nice idea until you see the egg-roller in person. It seems precarious how an egg would practically fall from an upper tier to a lower one without breaking. In practice, its quite seamless and safe. At transition points between every two tiers, there are ridges that make the passage slightly narrow and provide extra resistance. It’s quite a clever design.Like other egg-rollers this one also come with sloping-strip, a piece of plastic that you can stick underneath it to fine tune its slope, multiple slopes in this case. The difference is that it also comes with a small level, just a cube of glass with a liquid and bubble in it, and you can place it on tiny little dedicated platform on the front of the bottom tier.Except for the top tier, eggs are to be loaded from the side. The entire loaded process is quite awkward. The biggest problem with this egg-roller, in opinion is that when fully loaded it can get heavy and given its height and width, it easily becomes quite unstable and even a slight nudge can be enough to tip it over.An unanticipated issue with any egg-roller is frozen eggs. Most egg-cartons come with a lid. Turns out that the lid protects eggs from direct exposure to the cold environment of the fridge. In the rollers, eggs are exposed to direct cold of the fridge, which, sometimes, can be blowing extremely cold air directly on them depending on their location, which will result in frozen cracked eggs. It is something that you should be on the look out for.Due to the issues described above, in good conscience, I cannot give this egg-roller 5 out of 5 even if I want to. Although, I love the idea behind it.

I've been using this rolling egg holder for a few days now, and honestly, it's made a big difference in how organized my fridge feels. I always buy large eggs from Costco, and this product fits them perfectly. I love the vertical design—it frees up so much shelf space compared to the old flat trays I used to stack. Check my photo. The rolling feature works really well. As soon as I grab one egg, the next one gently rolls into place. It's a clever system that helps make sure I use the oldest eggs first, and I don’t have to deal with cartons sliding around anymore. It comes in two parts that snap together easily, and there's even a little bubble level and an adjustable foot to make sure it sits just right. It’s a simple touch, but very thoughtful.A couple of things to keep in mind:Definitely stick to large eggs otherwise anything smaller might not roll right or could fall through.Be gentle when loading it. The eggs can roll a little too fast if you drop them in too quickly.
