The thread repair kit is made of selected high-quality steel by cold forging and heat treatment, with high strength, high hardness, rust prevention, wear resistance and durability. This high-quality product is not only suitable for professional machinists, but also suitable for personal use.
Axle spindle threading set is used to clean or repair axle threads on spindles of M24 x 1.50, M24 x 2.00, M22 x 1.00, M22 x 1.5, M20 x 1.25, M20 x 1.50, 13/16" x 20UNEF, 3/4" x 20UNEF.
This thread chaser set can be used with 1-1/4 "sockets or wrenches to help repair/clean shaft threads better, saving time and effort, but the package does not include 1-1/4" sockets or wrenches, which you need to buy separately.
The thread repair tool is equipped with a specially customized heavy blow molded plastic box for easy storage and transportation. All products and plastic boxes are engraved with product size, which is easy to select, use and place. The groove in the box protects the wheel hub from wear.

Worked great to chase the threads on a expensive axle shaft. Good value and tough enough to handle a 1/2" impact.

October 20 - No replacement in the mail as yet!!Edit - Autool is standing by their product and has offered to send me a replacement.Their response was quick, just got lost in my inbox.... So 5 stars for customer serviceUsed the m22 x 1.5 on an axle with flattened threads.It cleaned the threads just enough so I could wrench the nut on.The cutting threads look flattened afterwards.I did use oil when using this. Probably good to clean rust out, but if I hadn’t been in a rush I probably would have ordered a single die at the same price as this whole kit.Sent an email to the vendor 4 days ago - no response
