The dial indicator and arm work great. The magnet is terrible though. The stated magnetic force is a joke. If you are not completely on a flat metal surface it will fall.

Hace muy bien la función, ya que la base magnética agarra muy bien, es bastante potente y no permite movimientos indeseados cuando se trabaja con el reloj comparador.No hacía buena presión al reloj comparador...pero esto supongo que sea culpa del propio reloj, no de la sujeción de la base.

My standard Dial Indicator with a 3/8" grip would not fit....even after prying the opening to see if I could force it. I ended up drilling out the end holder to fit my Dial Indicator ..... very disappointing.They say this holds up to 176lbs ----- NOT EVEN CLOSE!When this magnet is setup in a horizontal position and the magnet turned ON ---- it starts to creep and slide down. VERY DISAPPOINTING.I decided that I could position in a vertical position, along with my drilled out end, along with my Dial Indicator --- THEN this unit was useful.OVERALL ---- I wanted to give this a Single Star but decided to give TWO Stars because the Arms work pretty good.I would not buy again for those reasons.
