All of the parts were almost right. Every gasket required some trimming. They were all slightly too big. The holes were in the correct location, but outside perimeters were large. I didn't use the seats, they would not thread correctly. They became tight before they would bottom out. Floats were a bit smashed from shipping.The good. Accelerator pump rubber was good (I just swapped the umbrella seal), as was the check balls, offload needles, and hitch pins.It cheap, so I guess this is a "get what you paid for " type purchase.

Gaskets are cheap and thin, some had to be trimmed to fit, some other parts the same.I have used many carb kits over the years ,this is the only one I have been truly disappointed with.

I had to buy an entire second kit to get parts to make this work, all the gaskets are wrong for an edelbrock footprint, I can only describe this product as , the needed parts were described to someone drunk at a party and they had to guess at every measurement. Floats came dented with poor quality brazing, had to spend a good chunk of time filing down the top of the accelerator pump shaft because it will not work for application. Threads on needle seats are also wrong for the application, I was only able to use the main jet gaskets out of this kit basically, which is good because the other cheap kit I got to play with didnt have those particular gaskets. After I bought the 2 kits and the floats from edelbrock I saved a total of 5 dollars and lost 5 extra hours of my life.

This kit "DOES NOT" fit the 1406 carb! All the gaskets are different, the accelerator pump is the wrong diameter, the check ball is wrong diameter, The housing gasket is too small, etc.etc..... The kit was in a plastic zip lock bag, which was ok. it was flat inside a box so all the gaskets were flat. the floats looked good, not bent or anything like that. It looks like a good kit, it just doesn't fit the 1406.

This is the worsted thing u have ever seen gaskets don't line up accelerator pump rubber too small you don't see brass couplings don't screw in all the way they stop total junk don't buy ever

Kit came unboxed in a zip lock bag. Floats were bent and had to straightened. Accel pump check ball was the wrong size, and the old one had to be reused. The accel pump shaft would not fit the S-link and had to be drilled to the correct size. None of the needle seats had the correct thread and could not be used. I had to buy needles and seats locally since I was already in tear down, costing me more in $$ and time than if I had just bought a kit from an established and reputable buyer or even the OEM. Other than that the remaining seven gaskets I used worked wonderfully. I read the comments describing the same situation from previous buyers but decided to ignore their advice. I'm on board now, and I hope you are too. Don't waste your money or your time.
