I like the clasp and thin profile, but i didnt see any form of magnetism in the sections.

These things are the perfect size for my pack and what I was looking for. They could be better as there is a small gap between the compartments and gasket when closed that allows. #20 flies and smaller to move between sections when they shake around.

When I first received this pair of fly boxes, I was enthusiastic. I had a small enough fly box to stick in my waders' pocket. On my first outing, I noticed it was not very magnetic, that it doesn't have enough strength to hold bead head nymphs. I've fished many times with my pliers and fly box in my coat pocket, but this fly box picked up a deep scratch.The product came with a card that guaranteed satisfaction and stated they have excellent quality control. I have not tested the warranty process. I think that the fly box fails to meet an important standard: being able to hold flies securely when the lid is open, but the product is still usable, hence the two stars.

I purchased these boxes because I wanted a secure way to hold my small dry flies without crushing them in my foam fly box. These arrived and, while they will work to hold my flies, the compartments are not magnetic, as advertised. This is a problem, especially with light dries, because you stand the chance of them flying out of the box every time the wind blows. I’m disappointed with the purchase, but will give them 2 stars for a good latch and the apparent waterproof seal.Update: after some testing, the boxes are, in fact magnetic, but the magnets aren’t strong enough to secure the flies. Im definitely not looking for something that will be so strong that I can’t move the hook, but I need something that will be more secure.
