Before buying these I suggest that you try creating your design using the Avery website design tools or by downloading the Avery templates. After you do this and are satisfied that you can get good results then come back and purchase them. These were designed to create picture postcards and custom designed graphic postcards. We used to use a lot of those before the internet. They are as thick as the pre-stamped postcards you can buy at the post office and they work well in my HP LaserJet printer. My problem is the software available to create the design. You can can created your postcard design using the Avery website but I have found this to be cumbersome and difficult to understand. It does a good job if you manage to make through to the end without giving up. They also have a lot of pre-designed cards that I think you can modify to meet your own needs. The other option is downloading the free Avery templates for word or other applications. My big disappointment is in trying to make the templates work correctly. I've decided that I will have to make my own for Word or find another application I can make a template with. The other option I a thinking about is buying card-stock paper and then trimming it to 4 x 6 after I print it. If the templates are not going to allow me to print right place on the Avery form I don't see the point in paying 50 times the price of plain card-stock for them.

This is a high-quality product. I use it to print invitations to special events, using an Epson WP-4530 printer. Color printing looks very good on this stock, and the micro perforations give no impression that the stock is perforated at all. Yet the cards (2 to a page) are easy to remove quickly from the letter-sized sheets within which the cards are embedded. These cards are perfectly suited to this purpose.

After spending hours shopping online for Save the Date cards for our daughter's wedding, and wanting to design our own art and also not wanting to spend a fortune at this stage, I held my breath as we ordered these and we began to print. We had a full-color photo on front and a drawing & return address on the back. We ran a couple on our ink-jet at home, and they were "okay"— they looked home-made though. And I really didn't want that!We had a friend with a laser printer at his office who allowed us to print them there, and it made ALL the difference, as the heat from the laser really sets the color, and it gives the photo a bit of a shine, though the paper itself is a matte finish. The result was a very professional looking card.Because of the perforations, we found it best to run all the color copies on one side and then afterward run the backside rather than trying to run them front & back like you normally would. We only had two that had the perforations tear off out of 125 sheets, and that wasn't until the very end.

Thank you for sending so quickly. Sorry my Post office did not deliver the certified mail notice timely. I am glad I had a tracking number to get the post office on their toes.
