Always misaligned not properly scale even when you follow their instructions or even when using their online solution and changing printer settings

I thought they were waterproof since that is what I was looking for. The waterproof labels are shinny and so much prettier for labels. But, they are nice and working fine.

These are not even water resistant. The labels on my jars became unreadable the first day a little condensation formed on them. As I sell fermented foods in mason jars at a Farmer's Market, the jars are refrigerated between events, then sit at ambient temperature I really need labels that hold up. These were not even as good as regular office labels. Very unhappy with these!!!

Works very well and resistant to chemicals and liquids. Perfect for the lab or anything that is exposed to dampness and moisture.

Rugged, but expensive. Make sure you have a compatible printer and get the correct pigment type ink for full chemical resistance.

Avery label software. When you save a document in a new location the software always sends back to the default "Documents" directory instead of remembering the new location where you saved the last time. Adds a lot of keyboard or mouse clicking to get back to where you need to be.Create new label project you enter the Avery Product number and it pulls up the template. Given two items to test, 60523 and 60525, the 60523 did not work "We could not find any matches for your search". This review was based entirely on the 60525 template.Used HP7500A E910 Inkjet printer. Only black ink is pigment based therefore no colour printing was tried.I printed a set of labels to see how well the labelling software worked. Worked OK. Slapped the labels on the first thing in sight - a ZipLoc bag. I filled with water and dumped it into a sink full of water. Pulled it out a couple of hours later - no ink smudges but labels had peeled off of bag. Note to self - do not apply to flexible surfaces where water can get under the edges. Did not expect it to work and it did not.Thought I would be clever and buy a cheap cookie sheet and stick the labels to it. Able to heat and soak in one pan. This also did not work. The labels do not stick to non-stick cooking surfaces. I thought that they would and was a bit surprised that they become unstuck. Then I created a set of labels with text/graphic of solvent I was going to apply. I obtained a sheet of 1/32" aluminum and wiped down the surface with anhydrous isopropyl alcolhol (99.9% IPA) to prepare surface. Printed labels and applied to aluminum sheet. Did best to smooth out but some small air bubbles occurred. Smoothed down edges with pads of fingers then turned hands over and pressed label edges down as firmly as I could with fingernails.Testing included. Soaked aluminum sample in water for 1 hour. Placed sheet in oven and warmed to between 100°F and 130°F and let soak for an hour. After letting the sheet cool down I wiped down the labels with various solvents (DEET, bleach, butane, IPA, WD40, Tung oil, nail polish remover, and Goo-gone). With the substances applied I let the labels sit for an hour. This was followed by a water soak, an oven soak, abrasion by steel wool, a water soak, and finally an oven bake. After all of this I vigourously rubbed the labels in particular rubbing over the edges and corners. In three or four places the labels began to peel from the corners. This is a big concern given my previous comment that the labels have problems when water gets behind themPros. They hold pigmented inks very well. They are fine when used around typical household solvents.Cons. They may require specially prepared surface and exta care to make sure edges are sealed properly.Comment. Additional advice from manufacturer would be helpful regarding addressing cons. There are also some pictures of cupcakes from Sugar Bakery in Charleston SC

It was difficult to wait as long as I have to review these labels. However, it has taken a lot of time and endurance to test these out. BOY WAS IT WORTH IT! I have had a terrible problem with all of the products that I have been making. I do a lot of essential oil roller ball bottles, skin care body butters, inhalers, and other various skin care items. The problem is that after a short period of time, the labels that I have been able to put on them either come off or are ruined. I have been very frustrated. As I would like to eventually make products for sale, I could not figure out an economical way to design different labels for the large amount of special sized containers that I have. It is really hard to do a label that works on little round tubes but still looks good on larger containers too. When I found these labels, I can not tell you how excited they have made me!!!WHAT ARE THESE LABELS LIKE?These labels seem expensive at first, but they are high quality. There are 10 labels per sheet and each label is 2x4 inches in size. There is minimal edging on the sides of 1/8 inch. There is a header and footer of 1/2 inch. I want to make this very clear that you have to check to see if you have a PIGMENT based ink jet printer. There are not too many that have this type of ink (compared to the zillions on the market) so make absolutely sure that you have them. It is what makes the labels impervious to the elements. The surface of the labels is matte. They peel off easily and have lots of information on the back of each sheet in case you need to refer to it quickly.HOW DO THESE PERFORM FOR ME?Let me tell you, I am thrilled. I MEAN THRILLED with these labels. They are the PERFECT size for my products. I did not use the Avery online templates because I was finding problems with making the printouts line up with the labels on my printer. Instead, I used Coreldraw X7 and made a custom template so that I could fit each container that I have. This made it so that I could divide each label in half. I put the design at a 90 degree angle so that I could put two labels on each label on the sheet. When printed, I can cut them in half and they fit perfectly on my inhalers, lip balm tubes, roller ball bottles, and even my 4 and 8 oz body butter containers. The designs came out very nicely and clear enough, although I found that I had to make sure to use fonts that were clear and bold lest the letters turn out a bit blurry. The glue allows me to quickly replace the label, but once on the container for a short period of time- it is there to stay. I have found that so far it has lasted through oil, soap and water, and even just holding the containers constantly.I have been testing these several weeks now of hard use, but will update as I continue to use the items that are labeled to give more reports.WHAT I USED TO MAKE THESE LABELSCORELDRAW X7- laid out grid with same margins as the stickers and spaced them nicely on the templateHP OFFICEJET PRO 8710 (a PIGMENTED INK JET)My own custom designed labelsTHE BOTTOM LINEI found that there were no problems with layout and the printer I used to print these labels. I have been able to put labels on my lip balms, body butters, skin creams, essential oil roller bottles and have them last through some hard use. The labels stick very well once in place and stand up to hard use. I am extremely excited to have a way to label my own items with creativity yet durability without having to invest a lot of money in having them printed up since I am not sure if I will expand this into business growth or not.I will update over time to let you know how they hold up. For now these have five stars with enthusiasm and smiles.

While I am not using these labels for the intended use--chemical labeling--I'm finding them exceptionally durable and waterproof and great for adhering to difficult surfaces.First, you do need a pigment ink-based inkjet printer to have the durability and waterproof capabilities. If you don't, the packaging clearly shows that you won't have a waterproof, chemical resistant, abrasion resistant or UV resistant label (see photo). I used an HP PageWide Pro office inkjet and did confirm that it uses pigment ink. The printing surface of the label is exceptionally smooth, making the printed image and text very crisp and clean.I adhered the labels to several items, including- A Moleskine notebook, which I have had problems sticking other labels to in the past- A textured plastic surface, again with adherence issuesThis label will be permanent on these surfaces. The label stuck well and did not peel off when picked at.I will be using this to create custom labels for some bottles--perfect because of the adhesion, the professional print quality, the waterproof print and the smooth finish. Definitely a cut above other labels.?
