You really can't expect much from a box of newsprint. You expect it to be clean, without holes and the size you ordered. My box had all of these qualities in the beginning. However, as I got to the middle of the box things changed. The sheets are mostly short in one direction or the other, sheets have holes in them and I found quite a few that have black streaks on them, some sheets even have it on both sides.

The good: The paper itself is of good quality and equal to newsprint sheets sold by Uline, higher quality than Uhaul.The bad: Showed up several days late and caused me to have a few late shipments due to lack of packing materials. The box was falling apart and the entire package held together by some nylon strapping. The paper was a little damaged, but I'm going to crumple it up and stuff it in a box anyways. Ship it in a bit higher quality box for the weight and add a few more straps and it won't be a problem.

I use these to package coffee mugs I sell. The thickness is great for shipping mugs, not to thick not to thin. I use 3-4 sheets for selling a single mug in a 7x7x7 box. Works great, the mugs do not shift and they arrive at the customer undamaged.

I use this paper for the bottom of my bird cages and on the floor in my birdroom. Getting used newspapers is not desirable because a lot of the time the papers smell like cigarette smoke. Since tobacco is toxic to birds I do not want to use it. Thanks for a great product.

These are a little light weight compared to paper I bought from different sellers in the past, but the size is accurate, which others have not been. I'm buying this for the bottom tray of a parrot play stand, and it helps that it doesn't leave part of the tray uncovered (and therefore not poop-protected).If you're looking for sturdy packing material to fill space, this might not be ideal, but it would be very nice for wrapping objects closely, since it will shape to the object better than stiffer paper.
