I love this brand, and grabbed this for a ... "thing" with my husband. I'm a size 16 with a wide back end, and in these short "dress up" skirts, my concern is it's too short (I know, but it's for the PLOT) and betrays the costume as too "lurid" (What you're not weird, too?). I like to look my part without it being too obvious that the outfit is merely a set piece for approximately 4.5 seconds before becoming floor coverings. This skirt works and covers my "wide load" - just don't bend over! ("Or do!", says my husband. He's a smart man.) The elastic is comfortable and not a wide band that digs into your skin, it's perfect. The material is thin, but with Avidlove, it's never the cheapest fabric, every time I buy from them I get a really long-lasting piece of affordable lingerie. This fit the bill and ahem, we are very grateful. Now to never ever wear it again. Ten out of ten.

The Avidlove pleated skirt is well-constructed with even pleats that hold their shape nicely after washing. The waistband sits comfortably at the natural waist and has good elastic that doesn't dig in or roll down. Sizing runs true to measurements in the size chart - definitely reference those rather than your usual size.The material is a decent weight - not too thin or transparent, though you may want to wear shorts underneath as the length is quite short. The pleats are well-pressed and maintain their crisp look even after several washes on gentle cycle. The plaid pattern is evenly printed and hasn't faded.For care, hand washing or delicate cycle works best, and hanging to dry helps maintain the pleats. The fabric has enough weight to fall properly but still moves nicely when walking. Stitching is neat and secure at all seams.One note on fit: if you're between sizes, go up rather than down, as the waistband has limited stretch and the pleats need some room to move properly without pulling.

It’s cute, looks exactly like the picture, it IS thin material though, not thin enough that it’s see-through but thin enough that it surely isn’t worth the $25 I paid for it in my opinion. Good length. Medium fit me perfectly (5’8” 135lb)

I absolutely love the skirt and it looks great! One thing I would suggest is wear pants under it as it is very VERY short and a hint of wind will blow it up. It’s very stretchy and comfortable and no wrinkles from the looks of it. The material is a bit cheap but no complaints as it looks adorable. I would say the price fits how it is. Great for costumes
