Do I really need this? No. I've been effectively using a knife and a spoon for many years to deal with avocados. That being said, I thought I'd give this a try. It was the slotted side that intrigued me.The knife end was effective in slicing the avocado, and then I used the slotted side to scoop the avocado "meat". It went...ok. The issue with this tool is that it's made of plastic, and the slots aren't exactly sharp. So while it worked, it wasn't like a "knife through hot butter". It kind of smushed the edges of the slices.I think that if this was a metal tool, it would work significantly better. Yes, it would be more expensive, but it would be worth the extra price. Will this work as is? Yes, but it's not fantastic. But it's very cheap, so if it's appealing to you, I can recommend you give it a try.

I absolutely love avocados, and whoever came up with this product is an absolute genius! It makes slicing, pitting, and splitting avocados so easy and quick. The design is super convenient, and the best part is that it’s really easy to wash. This tool is a must-have for any avocado lover out there truly amazing!
