I handed this thing to my teenager for his PS4. Afterwards, I did not see him for four hours. I believe it works. He was able to reload games. He says the games play much better it and very compatible with his PS4.

Stop... you found it. If you're reading this comment that means you were looking for a hard drive for probably your PS4 or other device. This external hard drive works really well and comes out the box ready to go. Worth it and won't disappoint.

Didn’t use for a few months until I bought a new game and needed the space for my PS4. connected and was able to install the game on it no problem. However, if you slightly moved it it would disconnect and would require repair. This happened maybe twice and now it doesn’t recognize it at all. When the device is connected it says this device cannot be used. Try unplugging and plugging it in again. Can’t get it to work. Been a complete waste of money and download time having to reinstall my game since the drive is worthless. Got maybe three weeks of use out of it total. Very disappointed…

Nice and easy all you do is hook it up and it automatically syncs up to your system. I have not had any problems with it worth the money. I bought a 3 TB plug-in version. Same brand for my PS five works great.

I wasn't familiar with the company selling this ssd, but I learned they are a U.S. based small family business so at this point I was more then happy to make the purchase. I love that I was able to order it pre-formatted for whatever I needed it for, in this case to expand my son's PS4 memory. So simple just plug it in by 3.0 usb or reverse for 2.0(good thinking). All I had to do was plug it in came right up under storage and no issues have been found at this time. Seems like a great product and again 1tb for under $40 is a steal. Also thank you Amazon again for helping support American bases small businesses so that way we can always choose to support or own first!

Obviously, I've only had it for a day but, so far, no issues. I can't say this for sure but, for the people having issues, the instructions specifically say not to plug-in while powered on. I recall seeing a few reviews saying they plugged it in and nothing happened. Just a guess but maybe that's their issue and they didn't read the instructions.Also, not rating tech support because I didn't need them.

I got one for myself and it worked right away just fine and so far many months in its still perfect. I got one for my brother however and his did not work and needed the wire replaced before it worked for him, but after that it's working perfectly for him as well. It plugs right into the ps4 in able to work if that's what you choose to use it for so make sure you have an available USB porn strait into the system otherwise it will not work. All this time is has been worth it though.
