I originally purchased this hard drive to store the behemoth files that are Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 from my Playstation 5. It has worked perfectly fine for months where I would store games and miscellaneous media files and gameplay videos. However, after about three weeks of not turning the device on, it refuses to turn on now. I have tried unplugging the device and changing the USB cable or the AC power plug, but to no avail. I have stored it next to my PS5 for 8 months, on its side for aesthetic matching, and never experienced any issues. Then, one day it just stops working randomly. If you were considering purchasing this item to store precious game files I would advise you to purchase an internal SSD! Luckily for me I was not the biggest fan of COD Modern Warfare 3 and will not miss the campaign horribly. Choose wisely, friends.

Wanted it to play ps5 games but can’t store ps5 games on it like you can with Xbox, also is very loud vibrates my whole table. But if you fancy a working external storage for a few days go for it

The setup was simple and straightforward, and I was able to transfer all of my games from my PS5's internal storage to the external hard drive relatively easily. I had to reformat the drive twice, but I believe it was a PS5 issue.The hard drive is powered, and it has an on and off button on the back. However, I find it inconvenient as it means the hard drive remains on all the time, even when the PS5 is not in use. You have to turn it off manually. I am concerned that this might reduce the lifespan of the drive, especially if you are not careful with your possessions. However, you only need it to transfer the game you want to play onto PS5, so I overlooked this.The hard drive itself is sleek and stylish, and the white color matches my PS5 perfectly. The 3TB capacity provides plenty of storage for my growing collection of games, and the 7200RPM speed ensures that my games load quickly and run smoothly.One of the best things about this hard drive is that it comes with a 2-year warranty, which provides me with peace of mind knowing that my investment is protected. I’m able to fit all my games on it and the value for your money is great. The only issue I’ve had with it is it gets really hot but runs great still. The speed of the drive is great. It plugged right into my PlayStation and was automatically recognized.
