The pad that goes across your hand seems cheap. Not as comfortable as some or as heavy duty as some sparring gloves I've found since these. We'll see how long they hold up.

These are the kind our Shotokan Dojo uses and they are fine, no problems with at all. Local dojos carry blue and red but we needed white.

I do advanced Karate and we do free style sparing. My old gloves only covered my fingers but left my thumb joint unprotected. For some reason that area always got hit. These gloves are padded there covering the area. Nice job!
