Great replacement for price

It worked well at first. After a month or two it sometimes would flicker, sometimes it would sing (ie produce an audible tone), but finally it died an early death by shattering the internal bulb. Lasted about 300 hrs, compared to 2000+ hrs. So in the end it is way more expensive than the oem bulb, and for mediocre performance.

I hate writing bad reviews but I’m one month late on my return window. I’m now the proud owner of an $80 paperweight. This worked fine for about a month, but then things started getting screwy with it inside of my Epson 2040. Why? It’s not like I used it day and night! I barely used it at all! Very disappointing that it doesn’t last very long.

I’m always nervous about buying lamps. I’ve been burned on heap knockoff that don’t work at all. Not much to say about it since it’s just a lamp, but wanted you to know I bought it, installed it, and have been enjoying it for months problem free.
