Poor build quality. After one routine use of the knee pads, the post broke off from one pads making it useless. It seems posts are made from carpet tacks, or a similar fastener.

I use my knee pads when I’m out metal detecting to protect my knees from wet and rough terrain. I’ve tried several different kinds of knee pads and I like these best. They’re lightweight, but do the job they were designed for. The locking design of the straps keeps them pretty well in place, without leaving an indent on the backs of my knees/legs. This is my second pair of this style & brand, as the old ones were beginning to wear out a bit after 4 years. I was unable to find this exact style locally so I’m glad Amazon carries them!

Knee cap is not hard plastic, but it isn't soft foam either perfect for outdoor use; fit is excellent for me on the outside of hiking trousers, no slippage, or constant adjusting for comfort.

They're comfortable and seem sturdy so far. I use them in industrial construction. They hold up.I keep the top strap undone, otherwise the pads will slide down my legs. But that is gonna be an issue with any one piece knee pad of similar design. If you don't like that, consider a knee pad that is hinged with two pieces

I really like these pads, very comfortable...i do recommend to wear pants with them though...i had an accident on my euc...the pads protected well, but gave me a bad fabric burn on the back of my leg.

Been working for the newspaper for 27 years and these are by far the best I have ever used. They are super comfortable, light weight, not bulky and don't slide down to my ankles when I walk. Could not ask for a better fit and value.
