Quite substantial. It will hold whatever you put in it. If your putting this on a two wheeler, it will hold sum weight so strap it down cause if it moves while your moving that might cause an accident. It happens to fit my dog carrier perfectly. Not planned for. Just for whatever won't fit in the box. Like 2,3 bags of groceries. Or a couple of boxes. Put a cushion in it carry your friends around. It's really strong.

I got this basket for my ebike. It feels very sturdy and well made. It was easy to put together. It is nice that it came with a liner, bungee cord cover, and a rain cover. I feel like the items that i put in this basket will be very well secured and protected.

I have three baskets already. Two came with my electric bike, and I ordered a third one as a back up.Only problem with all of the baskets I have perused over the last few years is they are pretty much the same size.This is the first basket I have come across that is a bit longer than all the rest I own. I am always using camera bags for my baskets...and the 'regular' baskets hold them all except my large one. I can get it in, but I need to really squish it, and only if there is empty room inside. many times I have it quite full, so I have been leaving my favorite bag at home when out riding on the bike.This basket solves that problem for me...being a few inches longer. Width is the same. Now the large bag fits perfectly, even when fully loaded.It's a bigger basket, not by that much, but it makes a difference none the less.AWQM (manufacturer) has thrown in all of the extras as well...liner, cross bars for finicky bike rails, and a cargo net. Even a rain cover. Heck they threw in some tie straps for good luck as well.I would give it 5 stars if it came in one solid welded piece, but there is an assembly involved. Everything is provided to do that, and everything lined up perfectly. Once assembled, it is very sturdy, though time will tell if road vibration will loosen some of the bolts. If so, that can be easily fixed with some loctite.Overall, a great basket.

This seems to be a quality add on rear basket accessory for my Juiced (brand) e-bike. They claim to be universal, but that was not the case with my rear rack mount. In the instructions it actually states (on step 3) "Suitable for Dolphin and Rhino rear racks." Which apparently the Juiced e-bike does not have, so initially only two screws fit the mount. I ended up drilling (1/4 bit, which was the perfect size) the rest of the holes to add all the screws you see pictured. I drilled a couple through the actual basket and can say it was strong steel and took some time. Time to install on the bike with all the drilling was about another 30+ minutes. After having done this I can say the thing is VERY secure. I tested it out by lifting tail with just the basket (e-bike weighs about 130 pounds) and there was no movement. It doesn't rattle on the road either, so I'm pretty sure this thing is fairly durable.It comes with a 'waterproof' cover which in theory is nice, but practically speaking I'm not so sure that it is 100% waterproof, just using that alone. If you install the 'bag' accessory and put the waterproof accessory on top, it's about as close to being waterproof as one could get; simply based on the fact that when you ride in rain your tires throw water up, so if you have a fender (which most do), use the bag for bottom protection and the waterproof cover that is probably as close to waterproof as one could get, although there hasn't been any rain to verify.It also comes with a detachable bottom pocket, the waterproof cover, and stretch netting. Nice that they provide a few different types of covers for various needs.Install is easy, it took me about 20+ ish minutes to install the crate, and another 30+ minutes to install it on the bike (for reasons mentioned above. Fairly good install instructions, just read and follow. It comes with everything nees to install, and can probably be attached by just about anyone. It has worked great for quick trips to the store about 3 miles away and keeps groceries from falling out. Not enough to take off a star, because the quality, value for money, and durability are top notch. Recommend with slight hesitation, just because it is apparently made for Dolphin and Rhino rear racks.

I actually bought another basket that was almost twice the price of this one and it didn’t come with a single screw; no installation instructions, and a bag of nuts (to go on what screws?) after finally spending an hour installing it on my bike, I ended up removing it and it’s sat on my floor ever since. Just a word of advice: If you are going to order a basket, make sure it sits even or lower than the seat. Otherwise, when you swing your leg over the bike to sit, you will kick the basket and knock the bike over like I did. Or, you will get a pretty nasty bruise. Which I also did. The only exception to this is if you own a step/through style bike.This basket was half the price, it came with not only the correct hardware but like way more than I could possibly ever use so I have replacement screws if any ever come loose or fall off. It also sits PERFECTLY even with the seat so I can get on and off the bike easily without banging my shin on the basket or kicking my bike over. The third thing I like is that it is about 25% wider than my other basket so I can easily carry an extra bag of groceries on it.The quality is perfection. The basket is made of a heavy steel, and looks nice and sheek on my black and orange bike. It also came with a waterproof cover, a cargoe net, and a waterproof liner.Take it from someone who has made the mistake of buying the wrong basket before, this basket is the one to buy. You do not want to waste $100 on a basket just to have it sitting on your living room floor like me.
