My daughter started taking her cheer seriously and this hasBeen a great help with her stunting. Allows her to practice on her own on days where she’s not at cheer practice. I do wish the pump were included but other than that it’s super useful. Good quality material and super easy to clean.

My kids aren't gymnasts but have been competing more and more in the open poomsae category in taekwondo, which means that they can get creative with their poomsae forms (taekwondo routines). Ending the form with a tumbling trick or two can really make a nice impact and earn additional points from the judges. They've been ending with a cartwheel into splits, but that was starting to get old. Since we have no time to add gymnastics lessons to the schedule, they're self-training at home, and this barrel has been so helpful for practicing front and back walkovers. We pair it with an inflatable tumbling mat for safety and a softer landing. It's a slow process getting them to feel comfortable trusting the large-sized barrel, and I wish I had a pair of air barrel cradles to keep the barrel in place without having to hold it myself, but it turns out that those are very expensive – more than the barrel itself! – so it's going to be all me until they start becoming more confident with the support and movement of the barrel. The barrel inflates quickly and easily with an electric air pump (not included) and has actually stayed nicely inflated for weeks now without having to add any air. I'm really impressed with the quality and durability and am confident that with regular use and practice, they'll have a new trick or two to add to their routine soon!

My kids (9 and 5.5) are absolutely obsessed with this. They love playing and bouncing on it! It's a bit too high for my daughter to practice her back walkovers, but letting some of the air out works to make it lower for her.Make sure you have an electric air pump for blowing it up. It would take forever to blow up by mouth and has a weird inflation shape anyway. I like that the plug for closing it is attached with a string so it can't get lost.It doesnt lose any air no matter how much the bounce around and jump on it.

Very durable, and my kids love playing with it. We bought it to help my daughter learn back bends and it has helped. It is quite large though!
