I love this stylish little desktop trash receptacle. I can put it on my kitchen-desk and it looks like part of my white kitchen design. Its size, at 8 1/2" L X 3 1/2" width, is perfect for trash like old receipts or business cards, gum wrappers, even junk mail. What I like best about it is the lift-off surround, which leaves the actual inside-trash receptacle for fast emptying with nothing to reattach or fit together. So far no scratches or smudges despite my using it continuously throughout the day. This high-quality, sophisticated-design- trash receptacle is an attractive addition to my kitchen, with a very reasonable price.

I use this in my living room, it is perfect for putting small chucks of dog toys that are ripped off by my dog. The two part design allows for hiding the edges of the bags while keeping the bag from falling in.

So so simple but so needed. I use this container for all the little trash I have in prepping food and any food stuff I didn't want down the sink. So easy to dump out and saves endless trips to the actual trash can which is across the room. It's super easy to clean and looks great on the countertop. One of those things you don't know you need till you get it!! It's on the far right in my photo.

We use this on our rv kitchen countertop. We use the plastic grocery store bags to line it. They fit perfectly, and the outer cover keeps everything looking stylish and tidy. We prefer this option to using a larger trash can stored behind a cabinet door that we would have to be opening and closing all the time. We also don’t like to let that much garbage accumulate before it gets taken to the dumpster. This works well for us.

I didn't pay attention that it was a 2 piece design. I love the size, the color, the shape. It's perfect desktop size. I hate that when I pick it up the top comes but the bottom doesn't and often spills. I wish that it was a 1 piece design but that said, I did buy two because of the size.
