All sections fit perfectly and easily. Construction appears to be good quality and value. They fit my older Hillary pop-up hiking tent with minor adjustments. Very pleased!

I was in a bind after breaking a tent pole, and didn't want to bother with repair. I had 16 ft 3 in poles for a Coleman Sundome 6 person tent, and broke a fiberglass pole. Some of my friends warned me not to replace them with aluminum. But people in reviews posted photos of tents a lot like mine--with two cross poles holding up a dome tent--and said they had good luck with replacing the fiberglass with aluminum. I will say that it's true that the aluminum is not as flexible--so it's a little bit more of a pain to work with. But it can definitely do the job, and once they're threaded through the loops, and the clips are applied, those poles aren't going anywhere. I was nervous, because the way the original poles locked in, wouldn't work with these (at the ends where they secured to the corners on the ground), but they're so taut in the clips and loops, they aren't going to move. So it's not really an issue. Just get the ends as close to the ground as you can, and it should be fine. Also, the Sundome is being replaced by the Skydome model--which has proprietary poles with a bend in them for more wall support. It's cool, but if you break one--you'll never find a replacement (IMO). And I'm happy with my Sundome and wanted to keep it for a while--since I haven't even used it yet. For the record, the original pole broke due to my own misuse, not product defect or issue. It's a great tent, and I recommend it. Spray some Silicone on it, and you're waterproof and good to go!

Smaller and thinnerthan original fiberglass poles. Seem strong enough to support a 10 X 10 tent. Easier to pack with tent.

Easy to cut to size and works well for cheap replacement of old fiberglass poles. Wish they came with swappable tips, to work better with a tent that uses inserts to mount the poles, instead of grommets on the tent. The workaround is to pull the metal ends out of the poles and stick the tent inserts into the poles. Just inconvenient. The poles are taking on a little bit of a bend, but I may have cut them in a way that left them too long. Lightweight.

Worked perfectly for my beach shade sail DIY project. Slightly smaller diameter than the OEM poles, but tested this morning and full DIY project performed flawlessly. Combined the two poles to get correct length.

These are good replacement tent poles. None of the ends were crushed and the shock cord is good out of the box. It will take time to see if the elastic holds up.

Billed as a replacement for fiberglass poles. They are light weight and they won't splinter however, they cannot support the same weight structure as fiberglass poles do. Just beware and don't overtax them. After Review Update: The Seller wrote me and offered a full refund. They did not ask for a rating change although I did up it to a 5 for their polite response.

Much better value than fibreglass. My (big branded) fibreglass poles started to deform the first time I used them. 3-4 uses in 1 pole snapped at one end, thus the need to replace. These are much, much better. Less than half the weight, less than half the folded length and less bulk (slightly thinner diameter). They are stronger and better looking. Pity they only come in sets of 2, my tent has 3 poles. incidentally, each pole section is shorter than the average fibreglass pole thus making size matching easier. Just remove a pole section or cut one down. Also much more friendly material to cut than fibreglass. Heartily recommend.
