I bought this from a pro shop from people who verbally claimed to be experts. I asked if the open hook design would be an issue and they said no, totally safe.I've had it for 3 weeks now. So far I've had 4 early releases during draw, 2 unauthorized releases while trying to un-draw the bow. And today it released during the draw and I ended up punching myself in the mouth. The trigger bar is so sensitive that it needs an extremely familiar archer to be able to safely utilize this toolMy pro shop doesn't do refunds but I will never buy an open hook release ever again.

The comfort and adjustability of this release at the $60 price point is great. Hands down the best release I’ve used and I’ve been shooting bow for over 20 years.

as a large handed person it would be better if it had a few more positions to extend out and also a longer strap to allow you to adjust the wrist strap better

It has a great trigger but the design that holds the nylon in place at the wrist seems faulty. It's a screw that puts a hole in the nylon instead of punching the sides like other designs. Also it is more offset then other releases so you would have to re sight in your bow to shoot this release. You can tell the release is well made, so maybe the solid connection is the way to go with this one.
