Battery went out fast and it is hard to replace since you need a special screw driver for that so we doesn’t use it anymore!

This works so well! The design is perfect and the battery has yet to die. This thing has helped save my kids. I didn’t realize there was a problem with my water heater and it held up in 170 degree water! It’s durable for sure and absolutely waterproof. All you have to do is drop it in the water and it turns on. Easy.

So, I was having a bad day with a high temperature myself when I received this order. I really wanted something easy for bath time and this seemed like it would do the trick. BUT when I opened the instructions I felt a little overwhelmed. I just couldn't handle all the small print and whatnot. So this thing sat on a shelf for a while.Eventually I installed the battery with the included screwdriver and gave the thing to my wife. She is better at following instructions. My wife spent a few mintues with it and told me that it was already ready and working despite my not needing to do anything. SO I dropped this thing in the tub and it worked great! It's cute, it floats, and appears to tell the temperature fairly accurately. I am thrilled with it. Plus it stands up on the side of the tub and I can use it as a toy when needed. It seems to just turn on whenever its in the water and turn off whenever its not. Simple! There are some added features but I haven't felt the need to use them because it works great just as is!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
