Not the best set of brushes. It arrived looking like someone returned it even though it is supposed to be new. Definitely not something that you might want to gift to someone.The brush handle feels rough. Seeing the paw print on the handle actually makes me wonder if this is more for a pet. Personally, I don't think I'd use this on a baby/child. Maybe on a dog/cat instead since the quality and picture might indicate it more fort pets....The comb, which already has spacing issues, is okay, I guess. I'll probably wash this and let my daughter try to brush her hair with it. Otherwise maybe she can practice using it on her dolls instead.

Very soft bristles on the brush. Sized appropriate for babies. It does not have an off putting smell as stated on the packaging. This is a great great to add to a baby shower basket; very cute.

This brush and comb set was pretty cute, but not the highest quality. I like the comb as a travel comb, but the brush really only works for the smallest babies with very little hair. My baby has a full head of hair and the comb works better for her than the brush. The brush ends up being her toy to distract her while I comb her hair, so I guess it's a good set. This set is great value, and looks nice enough for gifting. I like that it comes in a variety of colors and the brush and comb match each other. Overall it's a good set for babies.
