My son has a habit of hitting his head on pretty much everything. He is super active but also very clumsy. His intervention teacher suggested a soft helmet to help protect his head while he is playing. We bought this one and it’s great. It’s comfortable so he doesn’t mind having it on, and the fact that it stretches helps him since he has a larger head.

Honestly it's a really great helmet for kids. It's soft enough that it's comfortable, but firm enough to do it's job. The design is super cute.I love this little helmet. It gives me piece of mind as my twins are learning to crawl and sit up. My first daughter was scraped and bruised from learning and I wish I had this when she was a baby.

This helmet has proven its effectiveness many times!I ordered this helmet to protect my little one’s head from hitting hard surfaces. He has started walking more and more in the past couple weeks and I wanted to prevent him from getting hurt. When my baby first started walking, he was still getting used to using his feet to balance and walk steadily. He was not used to the new experience of walking, so he has fallen over a few times and hit his head against objects. I wanted to allow him to continue to work on his balance and walking, but I did not want him to get injured. This helmet has helped prevent him from smacking his head a handful of times already. The size of it is a perfect fit for my 10 month old baby. The strap slips inside of a loop and can be adjusted to fit the size of the baby’s head area. The strap is fastened in to place with a velcro material which holds it very well. There are a ton of holes and openings to allow for good air ventilation around his scalp. The helmet goes down a just a bit over the top of his forehead, but it does not obstruct his vision. Part of his forehead is still exposed in the event of a forward fall. The helmet goes all the way down the back of his head almost to the neck so it has good coverage in the event of a backwards fall. The design on the helmet is very cute. I wasn’t sure how he would look in the helmet, but it turns out he looks adorable rocking it. The features I like the most are the breathability and the design. One drawback is that my son is having a hard time getting used to wearing it. He can go ten minutes at a time, and then he pulls it off. I’m trying to slowly get him used to wearing it more and more. I’ve learned that the second I put the helmet on him, I have to distract him with a toy. This product is a great way to protect his little head until he has a firm handle on walking. The helmet is a bit on the expensive side, but it’s basically an insurance policy on your baby’s head.
