Yes you can see the child but the suction cup does not stay stuck on.

The size is perfect. My car has a big blind spot on the rear quarter due to its sloping roof as a hatchback style car. I use this mirror as a rear view blind spot mirror to monitor if there is a car right next to me and kind of behind me. It helps before I change one lane to the left to double check if there is a car close by and is next to my car. Even though it is supposed for the driver to look at their child in the second row seats, the mirror still works beautifully for my purpose of monitoring the blind spot.

We've had this mirror on our windshield for about a year, through the frigid winter and the hot, humid summer. Suction is exceptionally reliable, as it has never fallen off (lick it before you stick it). Mirror is exceptionally stable while driving, no shake or vibrate. Most importantly, I can see my kid without having to crane my neck to look at her in the rear-view mirror. We have it stuck to the right of the rear-view mirror, so the seat behind the driver is in full view, the seat on the passenger side is obstructed by the passenger headrest, but still visible enough to see what's going on.*Note, if you need to adjust where the mirror is pointing after you have it suctioned to the window, hold the suction part with one hand for stability while you fidget with the mirror with your other hand.

I see lots of reviews about the suction cup eventually failing. It does, it's true. But, it's cheap and is the best mirror I've found so far. I've tried so many. The others don't stay in place, and even when they do, I can only sort of see my kids. I drive a crossover (equinox) and other mirrors that work fine in my husband's car don't work for the distance I need to cover (crossover + 1 kid on each side of the seat). I've looked and looked for a better mirror like this one, and I have given up. I will gladly re-buy this one every year until I don't need it again. To be fair, I don't remember how long mine lasted. Probably closer to two years. That's a long time in the summer heat, really. I recommend as long as you don't expect it to last you over 2 years. If you need it to last that long or longer, maybe try a clip on to the visor version. The clip on to the rearview mirror versions fall off non-stop. Happy mirror hunting!

mounted to the top left corner of our windshield due to visibility struggles in our truck with front facing seat on the passenger side. It takes up little windshield space, has stayed on without issue so far (a few months through hot and colder weather now) and can see my boy enough to know he's safe or make out what he's trying to say when I can't exactly hear him back there. :)

This mirror was great for the first month, but what good is a mirror that doesn't stay where you put it? In the second month, it started falling. I would find it on the floor and have to re-stick it to the window. Then toward the end of the second month it juts would not stick to anything. I've tried washing the suction cup, cleaning it with window cleaner, and cleaning the glass. Nothing works to get this to stick anymore. The cup does not pull back very much, so the suction was never strong. I would have given this 4 stars, but if it can't ever be used again, how can I give it any stars? I'm now looking for another one that has a better suction cup.

I purchased a dozen different mirrors to see which would work best in my Subaru Crosstrek and this was hands down my favorite. Not too bulky, fit above my rearview mirror as to not be a safety hazard by blocking my windshield, and would allow me to see both car seats in the back when they're forward facing. Because I can see the entire backseat, the image is a little small but you get used to it. A trade-off. The suction cup did not work on the textured shading above the mirror so originally I had it below the rearview and it started falling off after a hot summer day in a parking lot. After that I bought a smooth plastic pad to mount above my rearview on the texture. The pad adhered great but the mirror continues to fall off after a couple days of mostly sitting in the shaded garage on beautiful fall days (read not too hot or cold). I have yet to try getting the suction cup damp before clamping it, that's my next test. Very disappointed that I can't get the suction cup to work since it's advertised as improved and very strong.

Muy bueno, puedo ver toda la parte de atrás, puedo ver a mi bebé fácilmente, se ve súper claro, es fácil de instalar pero una vez instalado se debería mover con cuidado para ajustar

Very sturdy and easy to adjust/tilt for better viewing. The mirror is good quality and provides a clear view of the backseat, perfect for keeping an eye on the babies. It’s not as big of a mirror as I would have liked but it works perfectly and does the job well.

These are great. I bought two. I have a Fat-Tad Trike that I use sometimes for off-road, so there's "a whole lotta shaken goin' on". I have limited space on the handlebars, so I had to put two bike mirrors mounted to the holes in the handlebars. Vision was limited to say the least as the round mirrors just didn't give me the necessary view. I bought one of these and stuck it to one of the mirrors....PANORAMIC view instantly. My husband said it wouldn't hold. He was so wrong, it never moved and I have hit some really rough terrain. Some people are saying this doesn't stick? It most certainly does. Others are saying it shakes? No, it doesn't. If I can't get this to shake on a trike on rough roads, it certainly won't do it in a car. Same for sticking. It has to be on a HARD, CLEAN SURFACE that's flat. These have never once moved from the mirrors I set them on and I had to adjust the left one twice....that means I had to take it off and put it back on and I still cannot get it to move. It's literally stuck like glue until you remove it.THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST PURCHASES FOR BIKES, TRIKES I HAVE EVER MADE AND THE ABSOLUTE BEST VIEW I HAVE EVER HAD ON A TRIKE.

Since switching my son to a forward-facing car seat it became more difficult to just look up and see him in the rearview mirror. Let me explain: When he was rear-facing we had a wide angle child mirror placed in front of him where we could easily glance up and see him in the rearview. With him forward-facing he was now out of quick view. Otherwise I have to adjust myself or mirror to see him, putting the rearview window out of view. When driving, it’s best to have less distractions and adjusting. In comes THIS MIRROR! It’s amazing! I have it stuck close enough to my rearview mirror so I can effortlessly look at either mirror to see the traffic behind me and see how my son is doing. The first time I stuck it up, when I got into my car the next day it had fallen. I’m sure I didn’t apply enough pressure when I stuck it up that first time. I made sure to wet the suction cup a bit before I stuck it the second time, and it has never fallen since. Even when the windshield gets up to 100° (it gets hot here in Florida). I highly recommend this product. It’s the perfect mirror transition when your kid becomes forward-facing.
