This baby play mat is pretty great. It's soft, which is essential for all those tumbles and face-plants that come with learning to crawl. The size is perfect for our living room, and the non-slip backing is a lifesaver – no more sliding across the floor like a tiny, adorable hockey player. It's also super easy to clean, which, let's be honest, is the most important feature for anything baby-related. Spills? No problem! Just toss it in the washing machine and it's good as new. One minor thing: it wasn’t quite as thick as I was expecting, but it's still plenty comfy for my little one. Overall, this mat is a winner. It makes playtime safe and comfy, and that's what matters most.

This mat is supposed to be 50 x 50 and the plate pin that I bought is 50 x 50. The mat is much larger than the bottom the playpen. I don’t know which one is off cause I haven’t measured it with measuring tape but it is significantly larger. My baby is almost 9 months old, so I’m not really worried about her Getting caught up in it, but it is bigger than the play mat . Probably would not be safe for a little baby. Thickness is okay. Thinner than I hoped but it’ll do.

The colors are very vibrant, it is soft to the touch and does have a grippy side. It is true to size, I ordered the 71x59 size and it fits well in the play pen I have that size. I did put another mat under my pen as it’s on hardwood. The only thing was it didn’t fully expand to the thickness I expected, I reached out to the sellers and they were amazing and refunded. It comes shrink wrapped so I guess the one I got never got the memo to expand. It would work well on carpeted floors for tummy time or a nice designated play area. My original review was lower but after the seller reaching out I am changing it because customer service goes a long way. I haven’t washed it yet but the stitching seems well made so far.

i love this may it is perfect for my niece! it is very high quality and feels secure and soft. the print on it is also very cute and colorful. good for what you pay and the size is nice for a playpen.
