Bought this to take in vacation to Punta Cana for my 2yr old. The shade worked perfectly as my kid didn’t get any sun burn while in the beach. It’s a bit awkward to put on my kid so what we did was put him in it while in the room, lifted him into the water, then put on the shade. Worked like a charm and was quite safe. If travelling with this remember to take a balloon pump as mine didn’t come with one.
