This little wetsuit did the trick keeping our toddler warm on our recent beach vacation. Even though the water and air was warm enough for us adults, the winter beach weather was a bit chilly for our toddler. This kept her warm so she could enjoy as well! She is normally a 2T and the large fit well. It is a looser fit style, like many kids wetsuits and unlike adult wetsuits. The ankles and wrists were snug enough though, helping lock in the warmth. She also loved the mermaid design on the front!

I love the color and how thick it is. Great quality and warmth.

I am reviewing: Baby Wetsuit, Neoprene Thermal Swimsuit Keep Warm in Cold WaterMy grandson's parents are avid beach goers and surfers. You can't begin to learn too early, and this little wetsuit should keep my little grandbaby warm enough to prolong the fun.It is nice and thick, has a big, plastic zipper so no stuck zipper. The flap inside protects baby skin from the zipper. The cuffs and collar have a softer material for comfort.

Listen up momma's this thing is great, absolutely buy it but just so you know this is my 1 1/2 year old he wears 2T. And this is him wearing the 5-9 month size. It fits great and the measurements in inches is accurate.

My little guy just turned 13 months, and I wanted something to keep him warm while we are at the beach. This provides a nice bit of sun protection as well as some added heat retention. He was able to comfortably toddle around in it, then tested it out in a bathtub. He loved it!I like that the zipper is substantial, and it was not hard to take off of him. (I've used adult wetsuits in the past, and they can be really hard to peel off when they're wet!)Definitely a solid choice for us. We're pretty pleased with it!

Good quality. True to size. I had Splash About’s swim suits like this one when my baby was younger but they are more expensive so I was looking for alternatives. I actually like this one better because it has zipper instead of Velcro. Other than that is similar enough I don’t really find them any different in functionality wise. The gym pool is chilly but my baby(1yo) tolerates about 20min per session without starting to shiver. He moves around just fine.

This appears to be a nicely made wetsuit with quality neoprene. The back zipper works well, unfortunately there isn't a spot for it to 'nestle in' and no zipper cord. Obviously wetsuits are intended to fit sung and work much better when they do, so pay attention to the measurements, but they seem fairly accurate according to their posted chart (as evidenced by photos). However they would seem to run large if you were just going just based off their age recommendations. It's supposed to fit snug and the kiddo is almost 2 (33 inches tall, 22 pounds), smaller than average but the kids measurements would better fit with the size medium than large, as you can see in the picture it fits very large right now and is basically useless. Thankfully it can be grown into so that's not too big of an issue. No smell issues. It will help with warmth in colder water but not sure it is 2 mil. Accurate color. An old surfing trick for snug fitting/wet or damp wetsuits those that don't know is to put a plastic bag (grocery or zip-lock work fine) and then put you arm/legs through one at a time, which also really helps for kids. Overall I have no hesitations about recommending this product, just pay attention to the stock photo measurements and you're likely to be much better off. It's nice to essentially be able to 'extend' the swimming/ocean season with little ones with this. Advertised as a 2 mil wetsuit, which personally it feels a little on the less end of 2, I'd guess it's actually somewhere around 1.5 ish, definitely between 1-2 mils. Overall recommend as long as you pay attention to issues noted, one star knocked off because it really doesn't feel like a 2 mil wetsuit when compared roughly the other 10ish I own....

I take my 8-month old to weekly swim lessons and the pool is on the chilly side. He was too cold in a standard rash guard so we tried this wetsuit. Not too difficult to get on and off and it keeps him perfectly warm. Slight odor but all wetsuits usually have an odor. Seems to be slightly diminishing over time.
