Looks much wider in the ad picture than it is in real life. It provides adequate support but not firm if that is what you are looking for. You can get it good and tight which helps provide a little better support, but you will likely sweat if you do. The material is fairly thick so it doesn't breathe well like others on the market. The Velcro closures are thick and right in front so it can be a little uncomfortable around your stomach. The back of the brace does have four metal (using that word loosely) pieces that should provide more support than they do. I also though the brace was a bit small for the sizes noted. If you want a little bit of support this brace may work for you, but if you are looking for a lot of support I would not recommend this one.

This is easy to put on and take off. Easy to tighten and made of good quality material. Love it.

Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free ProductThis is a pretty nice and well-made back brace.Interestingly, it has four support rods instead of the usual single large one in the center. The way the Velcro and pull straps are set up gives it a more versatile adjustment range than other braces I’ve tried. However, one thing I don’t like—although it has four individual support rods, they are fairly soft and pliable, not offering the firm support that someone of my body build wants in a back support brace.Don’t get me wrong, it still offers support and is infinitely better than nothing, but I have other back braces with much firmer support bars that I prefer when my herniated disc pain is really acting up.That said, there are probably some benefits to having four spread-out support rods instead of a single large one, though it's not exactly what I need.

The Yuvontrem's "Back Brace for Lower Back Pain" came in a ziplock type plastic pouch. It is a generic back brace possibly sold online by different vendors.A few things to note:1. The product is not the most breathable material.2. There are support strips for the back spine area but they are flexible. They cannot be removed, if desired. Inadequate support provided.3. The velcro is very strong on the belt and the two supporting belts also.4. The belt is about 42 inches long - tip to tip. I wore it over a t-shirt and you need to take that into account.5. The stitching on this seems to be good with no loose threads.6. This is one of the cheapest braces at just $17.99, at the time of this review. This will be a good choice for someone to use a brace for a short period of time for a bit of back discomfort.

30" waist; ordered Medium. I ordered this for my husband who works construction and is always complaining of back pain. He has other back braces so he was able to compare it with others he's worn. He liked it. The height was good and it was tight/thick and held well. One downside, but not a deal breaker, is the slightly chemical smell just out the package. There is mention of that in the description, so no surprises.Another thought, my husband is very thin and usually wears a small in everything and this medium barely fit ok. Check the sizing before ordering because these are not sized per American clothing sizes.

Ordered the XXL for a 36" waist and the fit is just right. The stitching seems adequate with no fraying that I can find. The material in the back of the belt measures 9" which is a generous size of material compared to what my hardware and big box store sells. The elastic tightening straps are made from 2 pieces of strapping material and with the generous amount of Velcro it stays put. I am using it when picking up and loading firewood and I feel it makes a big difference to support my back that has 2 herniated disks. I like this product. I feel it is a quality product and worth the $22 selling price.

I received this item at no cost so that I could provide a review for Amazon customers...I had been dealing with lower back pain due to much 'sloppy' sitting on a soft couch during the shut down. I then started spending a lot of time sitting at my desk while writing my first manuscript. I found that I was hunching over and it was affecting my skeletal structure. I was concerned that I could break a hip in old age from poor posture -- certainly don't want that!!Well, when I saw this run across the vine items for review, I snatched it up. I wear it every day now -- especially when working at my desk -- and my back pain is going away. As a matter of fact, I am finding that I sit and stand up straight without even thinking. Even better, when I have to bend over to pick something up...even something small, I tend to bend at the knees/upper thighs, keeping my back straight the whole time. I now do this when I am not even wearing the back support brace.Something to be cautious of. Because your back feels so much better, it is easy to make it tighter and tighter as time goes by. I found that this does not work -- you may be crushing your bone structure to be tighter than it should be -- and then this brings pain. The good thing about this device is that, if you pay attention to your body, it will tell you how tight or how loose you should wear this -- or if you need to adjust according to where you are sitting (or standing/running) for that moment. As for me, I rarely take this off when I am at home. Whether I am watching a movie on a cozy couch or sitting at my desk, I like that my lower back can remain straightened, preventing any slouching along my lower spine.I will be wearing this until my bone structure is straightened back to normal.
