As per the other reviews this thing is big. If you are using it for an occasional back rest in bed. This may not be for you. This is unreal for back issues. I've had posture issues forever. Our couch has no real back support and no head support at all! This greatly improved my posture sitting. Which has improved my overall posture and pain. I cannot recommend this enough for back issues. I got a Millard for Christmas and returned it. It's very similar to most others out there. All the stuffing ended up in the arms and bottom. This the stuffing can't migrate as easily. Waiting on an infared heating pad to go with it. I think this may make a world of difference as well. I'm 5'2 and this fits me perfectly.

This actually provides some pretty good support and is comfy. Some reviews mentioned it did not take shape when unpacked, my did just fine. Was good to go after 24-hr, they recommend 48. The head pillow is a little floppy but it works fine. You can use it as neck support or throw it back for your head to rest against. The material seems a little dated, like corduroy from the 1970s. I removed a couch pillow in my picture and it fits nicely and gives more room for my legs stretched out on the couch and an ottoman. And the wall supports the pillow nicely. Also, it does not smell, which is a plus. So many fill materials (foam) these days give off a nasty odor.

I’m a mom of three who’s had three C-sections—and as anyone who’s gone through that knows, recovery doesn’t stop at the hospital. Years later, I’m still dealing with chronic back pain, tightness, and discomfort that makes sitting up in bed or on the couch almost impossible for long stretches. I’ve tried every pillow setup under the sun—nothing worked…until this one.Let me just say, this back pillow is everything I didn’t know I needed.First of all, the size is perfect. It’s extra large, so it actually supports my entire back, shoulders, and neck—which is rare. Most “bed rest” or reading pillows are too low or too soft, but this one gives firm, structured support without feeling hard or stiff. I can actually lean back without sinking into it or feeling like my spine is collapsing (which has happened with other pillows).The arms on the side are a major bonus—I didn’t realize how much pressure I was putting on my sides until I felt the relief of having them supported. Whether I’m reading, working on my laptop, or even just watching TV after a long day, I no longer feel that sharp mid-back pain creeping in.The fabric is also super soft and cozy, but not the kind that traps heat or gets scratchy. It’s breathable and easy to spot clean—I’ve already had a few spills thanks to kids jumping on the bed, and a damp cloth handled it just fine.Since using this pillow, I’ve noticed I can sit upright in bed without shifting or readjusting constantly. I even used it during one of my postpartum recoveries (I wish I had it for the first two!). It made things like feeding my baby, reading to my toddlers, or just taking a minute for myself so much more comfortable. I love this back pillow. It is firm to give support to my back. I really like that it is quite tall and the top works like a head rest. So comfortable. The blue is almost a blue gray and is really attractive. Great quality for the price.

Wanted bed rest to support back when I read in bed. This product too bulky. And the head rest uncomfortable and floppy. Have to find place for it. I am a small woman of advanced age. Find it very hard to lift and move. But it is comfortable. Just not for me. Regret purchase at this price, but keeping it. Too much effort to return.
