Great for learning to pitch. My niece recently started lessons for softbal pitching and this is helping her aim so much. We just call out which square and she has to try and get it in. It's sturdier than I would've thought as well. Overall, very happy.

Easy to assemble and lightweight, but stays up when you throw into it. My son loves it for practicing fielding ground balls and throwing over to first. Packs into a small bag so it doesn't take up much garage space.

The kit is awesome. According to my son, it helps him practice for baseball. The design is great and easy to put together and take apart. It fits nicely in my backyard, and for the value is perfect for the price. I highly recommend this if you're child, plays softball or baseball

For the price point, I would say it works at the level I would expect. It is not as strong as some of the ones that are priced much higher, so the balls sometimes hit the back of the pockets and bounced out, even when throwing from further away. It is small enough to take around and set up quickly and easily, so it makes it great for practices. I would say since it’s a lower price, it’s worth it for us to use on the go and works well enough!

I've coached a few little league teams now and one of the fundamental skills, throwing with accuracy, can be a challenge. I've rigged bike tires between PVC tubes, used cut outs, but having the proper tool makes a world of difference. This perfectly fits the bill for younger players. Rather than chasing down balls or questioning whether the target was hit, this net provides immediate feedback that the throw either hit its intended target or not. It's also very easy to create some friendly competition to make practicing skills fun.Set up is very easy, as is take down and a carry bag is provided for convenience. The upright posts are a tight fit but everything does fit in the bag.I would not have older kids pitching to this as the frame is not incredibly rugged. But this is perfect for the first several levels of little league.I would recommend for anyone looking to make learning fun.

I’ve been looking for a 9 pocket pitching aid for a while, but didn’t want to spend hundreds on one of those heavy padded metal frame style 9 pockets. This one works just as well and for a fraction of the price and is also super portable with its own bag and everything. The net sets up and tears down quickly and easily, especially if you have any experience with other bow-net style nets. Less than 2 minutes up or down. The number targets are easy to see over the boxes. The size is good for adults or kids, as long as you don’t get too caught up in the idea of the 3x3 grid matching the location of the strike zone. Sometimes you want to be able to practice sliders or change ups that dive out of the zone in the 7 8 or 9 pockets, so not everything should be in the strike zone anyways, and this allows you to practice this types of pitches as well. A small amount of height adjustability would be nice but not 100% necessary. It is somewhat difficult to practice up at the top part of the zone as an adult but it is perfect size for kids.We even had extra fun with this over thanksgiving break with family and did a “pitchers tic tac toe” with foam baseballs down our hallway.Overall this is an amazing price for a useful tool for pitchers of all ages.UPDATE: After a few outings, we did manage to break both sides of the connection between the lower net support rope and the elastic loop that holds it on the lower frame corners by hitting them both directly with a ball. We have continued to use it, the only difference being it no longer stops balls that are below the 789 holes, but it still catches the ball in all the holes just fine. We have always used a larger catch net behind it anyways so it doesn’t really matter. Could probably be fixed by stringing a bungee cord through the bottom.
