I like these bags, and will continue to use them. However, they are NOT waterproof. After a rainstorm (with the zippers fully zipped and covers down), everything inside the pouches was thoroughly soaked. Not only that, but it DOES seal well enough to keep everything wet for days. If you expect to ride in the rain or leave your bike exposed to rain, keep shopping or at least bring in anything that water will ruin. Ridiculous that a commuting accessory is so vulnerable to rain.

I liked this product, this is my second one. First one tore at the bottom on one side, had tools and a lot of other stuff in one side of the saddle bag, it was overloaded. It does block light rain, but in heavy rain, water will get in, so I have water sensitive items in water proof bags. Does hold a lot of stuff, I wouldn't put more than 10-15lbs in each bag. Also I ride long distance like 16-20 miles at a time and went over a lot of bumps, which is another reason one side tore at the bottom. Learned what not to do.

40 L not very big and the material is not good really not good. not worth the dollars

We were Camp Hosting at a state park, NO WIFI in the campground. Had to go to park nature center to get it. Using e bike to get there, had to have something to carry 14" laptop. This fit the bill. Lots of space to carry even more stuff. Would have good for carrying some goods from store too.
