I bought this for my Concept 2 rower. I have a bony butt so this makes it much more comfortable to row for long periods of time. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased a new home and I have been assembling a home gym in it.I have a lot of pieces of basic equipment, but I continue to look for more items to add to it.I love my rowing machine, but after about 10 to 15 minutes I’m pretty sore and I don’t like using it anymore. So, when I came across this gel cushion, I thought it would be awesome.It was the correct size and I loved the details about it so I went ahead and placed an order.Right after it arrived, I put it on and oh my gosh, what a difference!It raises you a few inches But it is so comfortable and painless to use as opposed to the hard seat that my machine has.It also fits on my exercise bike so I’ve been using it a lot on that as well.With both machines, I am able to go a lot longer because my comfort level is so elevated.It is made very well And I think it’s a great deal for the price.You will definitely see an improvement in your workouts once you start using one.So if you’ve been looking for a cushion to assist with your workouts, look no further.This one is awesome!I hope my review helps you to make a more well informed decision.

I thought this would be a great Seat Cushion, however, it came compressed and upon decompressing the one side is STILL crunched and therefore the entire seat is UNUSABLE. So, I cannot recommend this product for the use that it was intended for or for any use that I can think of.

Pros: the cooling part of it is really great especially when you're burning up from the workout. It's comfortable though I don't think its really that much more comfortable than the seat was before putting it on. It was really easy to put on, it's just two adjustable straps and they have a buckle so you can clip it. It stayed in place for me but I'm not as aggressive with my workout as my fiance so I'll have to see how it a stayed for him.Cons: it really compresses a lot when you sit on it. Like it loses almost 2/3 of its height.Overall thoughts: if you're don't have a need for the cooling part and the seat of your rowing machine is comfortable enough then don't bother with this product. It wasn't exactly life changing/can't live without. I can imagine if the rower was old and the seat was messed up or degraded then this would be the MVP but otherwise, with how much it squishes down, I wouldn't spend the money.

First impressions were lack luster. It comes vacuum sealed in a plastic bag wrapped in tape. Definitely not gift worthy. After spending a couple minutes trying to open the plastic without tearing the cushion, I finally got it out.The seat has two elastic belts to buckle the cushion to the rowing seat. So you don't really need to unbuckle the strap, just stretch it out a bit to fit on the seat.In terms of comfort, this is way more comfortable than just using the normal seat. Very comfortable, and I was able to row for much longer. No concerns or complaints (well, except for the ugly packaging).

This rowing cushion is worth every penny, definitely worth the twenty bucks it's listed for right now. I randomly found this on Vine and figured I'd give it a try since my tushie sometimes complains during a rowing workout. The cushion came packaged rolled up and super compressed. After two or three minutes though, it fluffed right up. It's about two inches thick. Sitting down for my first workout was a completely different experience. It was like sitting on a supportive pillow. This was easy to buckle onto the Concept 2 Rowing Machine seat. It fit perfectly. Plus there are little grippy nubs on the bottom of this cushion so it didn't move at all while I was rowing.The cushion cover is removeable and can be washed, although I haven't tried that yet. Based on the thin fabric though, I plan to put it in a laundry bag and wash on delicate.There is a bumpy gel layer on top of the cushion which is supposed to help keep you cool. I don't know if it really made a difference in staying cool. And the bumps felt a little weird to me (although I'm sure I'd get used to it). For my next workout, I'm going to flip the inner cushion upside down inside the cover so the cooling gel is at the bottom. I love that I have the flexibility to adjust the cushion and figure out which side my tushie feels most comfortable with.Overall, this was a great find and I highly recommend this cushion for all the other Concept 2 rowers out there.

So if you have a Concept 2 rowing machine then you know the seat is a bit on the firm side. Well, why not cover it in memory foam like we do everything else! This seat cushion does that. Except, it goes one step further and puts a cooling gel layer on the top and then covers that in a breathable mesh so the sweat doesn't become an issue. And then they put straps on the thing so it doesn't move while you're rowing. This is a must-have for all the sensitive backside, Concept 2 rowers out there! Buy it, stay longer on the machine, that's a win!

I used this on a Concept2 Rower.It was easy to attach and detach, making it perfect for throwing in your gym bag and taking to the gym with you if you don't have a rower at home.It provided a great additional cushion, and it didn't slip at all. It truly improved the experience of using the rower and I look forward to getting a lot of use from this in the future.
