I have a 2023 Chevy Silverado with a 3.0L Duramax diesel. I changed out the stock fuel filter and hardware for a VSE fuel saver filter setup which uses this filter as a secondary filter in conjunction with a water separator filter. This Baldwin filter has a 4 micron rating which is better than the stock fuel filter which is rated at 10 microns. This is the second filter change using the Baldwin filter with no issues.

I used this filter as a primary fuel filter for my air dog. It works but there are two black plastic tabs on the air dog body that have to be removed or the filter will bottom out on them and not seal. Not a big deal, just a little Allen bolt . And unlike the cat filters many people like to use . You do not have to grind on the air dog bracket to get it to fit .Also unlike cat Baldwin is more then happy to tell you the filters specs and it’s absolute micron rating unlike cat that ignored my email. It’s 4nm buy the way . According Baldwin, there isn’t a iso test that goes below 4nm . If a filter is being advertised as a 3 or 2 nm it’s more then likely bs.

Just a heads up this did not fit my AirDog. It would thread on just fine but bottomed our before the seal touched the surface. I don’t think the the filter had a defect perhaps it’s just the wrong application... otherwise it looks like a great filter.

It didn't work with my fass pump but the cross over said it would. The metal flange on the filter stuck up too high
