Took my husband (who is very handy) and myself 7 hours to put this together. The hardware was labeled with numbers while the instructions labeled the hardware with letter. In addition, one piece was very scratched, thank goodness is in the upper "flap" that won't show much. Finally, the mattress is cheap cheap, we will have to store a foam topper for when we have guests. It is not really sturdy, the wood layer beneath the mattress snaps and creaks when weight is applied, the one redeeming quality is that it looks nice.
