This is my second purchase of this case. It’s slightly heavier than a hard case because of the inner protection materials but it’s really worth it especially if it’s going to house your most expensive tenor saxophone.

I used my previous BAM Trekking case for 12 years with zero issues. I owned one before the last one as well and that one was just as good and durable. I am a professional performer and teacher and am constantly traveling with my horn. The backpack straps are completely essential. It's a real pleasure to have both hands free while walking with my instrument. They also give you the option of 2 different carrying handles. The expandable storage compartment is so nice. There is a separate mesh pocket inside to hold music and a small zippered bag compartment that also resides in the main outer storage area for small items. There is a rain tarp that fits completely around the case that is stowed right where the head meets the case and it actually feels like a pillow when you lean your head back. My tenor saxophone is my partner, money maker, and voice of my truth. I need a high quality case I can trust. Thank you BAM for making this.
