I love these radio's. i work in security and have 2 . the comunication between the 2 work great . but the most usage i get them for is the F M radio, the batterys last a long time. and the light on the radio's work well also . a perfect disaster radio allways have an fm radio available . i also have the 12 volt charger..

I have several Baofeng radios. The chargers are decent while they last. Eventually, they do fail.This one is still up and running.

I don't know why they'd be different, but the ones that came with the two-pack of radios I previously bought, held the radios really loosely - if you weren't carefully the battery contacts wouldn't connect, or the radio would just fall over. With these, there's no doubt - when you insert the radio it takes a small bit of force, and the base grips the radio well enough that if you pick up the radio without holding down the base - you pick up both.

Bought the charger to tear apart for the charging circuitry. It charges 2S Li-Ion batteries and does it well enough. Went into a cheap drop-in charger that I made for an Icom radio. Still working well a year later. It's cheap, it works, it's Baofeng.
