Looked like it would be a great alternative for many radios over the individual docks. Have 10 radios in service so I purchased two multi docks. They worked for maybe a month then one by one the charging slots stopped working. Now I only have 4 of the twelve slots that still charge. I'm forced to rearrange my security cabinet to re use all the individual docs. Very poor quality.

This is a great product! We have 6 radios my family uses around our property. In the evening even everyone comes in, the drop their radios in, and in the morning everything's good to go. Only take an hour or two to recharge a dead battery. You can also let it stay in the charger when you are using it as a scanner. You can also use to just charge a battery with the radio attached. This is nice for when you bring a spare and swap out the battery. But these radios can go a few days on one battery.

The blades that the battery slide on to are too fat.I tried to shave them but the just broke off.If i put the radio in the charger i have to use a kitchen sponge to hold the radio in place.

I keep uv5r's around as handouts, and this is an easy way to keep down on clutter. Nobody wants 6+ single charges sitting on their desk. This keeps it nice and neat.
