Disappointed. I wanted these to get my attention when my wife turned them on while I was in my shop. Maybe if the room was totally dark I could see it! But then again, that won't work will it! Not a good buy for that purpose.

I am using it as a light attached to a garden well pump used for irrigation. I can easily see when the pump is running and more importantly when I have left the water on somewhere. Good value and easy to see.December 2023: this light still works. Has been mounted outside on a pump house. It has prevented me from letting the water pump run all night. This light is a no brained if you have something some distance from the house that you want to know if you left it running. Highly recommend.
