Used in my travel trailer to select shore power or inverter power. Solid and reliable.

I bought this switch for a fairly high current application (an electric lawnmower so ~40A draw on startup). At first I was concerned about the contacts fusing shut upon opening the switch but so far it has worked perfectly. There are a few good and a few bad things about this switch. First the good:* Seems to handle 40A for up to an hour without any issues whatsoever.* Nice, positive, solid detents in all 3 switch positions* 3 separate poles lends itself to 12/24VDC crossover switch applications (i.e.- 24V run/12V charge)* Nice brass screw connections with molded barriers to prevent inadvertent shorting between wiresNow the bad:* Completely lacking instructions for non-obvious face plate mounting. Took a few minutes to figure out.* Face plate label just loosely floating there- not even stuck on.* Because of poor faceplate design it appears to be lower quality than it actually is. It looks cheap. All in all I would recommend this switch if you need a higher current, 3 pole alternative to a toggle switch. it may not be best looking switch out there but it appears to be robust and certainly does the job. I hope this helps!

It would be great if it was built with quality materials but, it's so cheap the plastic breaks if you tighten it adequately. After two of them fell apart, I just made my own switcher, it worked better and didn't fall apart.Wish I had done that in the first place. Didn't have another circuit available in my panel for new stove so, I got this to switch off the hot water heater and switch on the stove then, after cooking i'd switch it back so as to not overload the circuit if the water heater kicked on while I was cooking. Would have been perfect if it were made with better quality materials.

A very small switch with large number of connections. Enclosure recommended for this switch makes for a very tight installation which would almost be impossible with solid core wire.

Works well to switch the VFD output from Hi to Lo. The numbers on the switch are easily rubbed off from handling though. Mounted in a 6x6x6 box along with DIN rail, all from Amazon.

Good price/quality. Seems odd that the wiring logic does not come with it, download diagramme from ad.Solid sounding operation.Has to have the right box to use it as the 1-O-2 panel floats and the box secures it.

Used this to switch 120V power between and inverter and generator on an RV. Contacts are heavy duty. Switch rotates smoothly and lock into the selected position solidly. Easy to mount on a panel face - not a surface mount switch.

I used it to switch between the shore A/C power and inverter in my trailer. Small enough to find a spot for it, yet rated for 40A. Good to have an OFF position as well.

Pretty easy swap out in vertical mill. Larger higher amperage than original but still fit mounting holes. Did not have jumpers like original but easily made replacement jumpers from wire.

Arrived as promised. Put in today and when I open the box the switch was there but no screws. Had to run and find machine screws for mounting, Also no instructions in the box. You need a little ability to see what is needed. Picture and description shows screws. Very frustrating when you ready to begin and do not have the mounting screws. Had to use ohm meter to determine which contacts where the N/C and N/O ( no instruction sheet). Therefore the three stars,
