So, I'm actually not using this for its intended purpose (I'm not a scientist). Instead, I've been using it at holiday parties to automatically stir drinks concoctions I've made that use edible glitter to give a swirling effect.Just to be thorough, however, I did put some liquids on the hot plate and tested its temperature accuracy, and it did, in fact, remain within 0.2 degrees of what it was supposed to at all times. So I see nothing to complain about with this device.
