Solved my brake light problem

Had a problem with the car giving me a "replace brakes" warning that would not reset. Upon removing the right rear wheel (where the brake sensor resides), I discovered that the sensor was just swinging in the breeze instead of being in it proper mounting slot on the caliper. Put it back where it belongs and still couldn't reset the brake warning. Brake inspection indicated that the brake pads had obviously been replaced shortly before. I purchased the car (used), So my best guess was that whomever did the brakes neglected to replace the sensor, as recommended by BMW on brake changes. The new sensor was a perfect fit and I was then able to reset the brake service warning. Also, as an added bonus, these sensors are made in Germany and are not just Chinese knockoffs.
