This is a super item. The construction and materials quality is first rate. It looks great. The telescoping action works easily and allows it to be packed away in a small space. The one-way air valve keeps the user from inhaling any smoke or ash. But most of al it really does help when trying to start a fire in a fire-pit. It also makes quite an impression when you get it out the first time with your friends and family who will admire your advanced fire-starting skills!

I think the primary reason I camp is just as an excuse to collect gear. I LOVE GEAR. And in particular, I love Barebones gear. I have their lanterns and their pans and all kinds of stuff. It is all well made an just oozes quality and a solid camping vibe.Did I need a fire blower? I did not. I am perfectly capable of starting a fire without one, especially since I love gear and thus have at least a dozen different ways of starting a fire. Am I *thrilled* to have this fire blower? I AM. It is SO AWESOME. I love just looking at it. I love having it on a shelf. I love packing it in my camping gear, knowing that when I get to the campsite all my camp buds will be jealous (one of our primary activities is showing off our new gear and ooooohing and aaaaahing over our latest acquisitions). This thing works great - not that it matters - and looks great, and would make a wonderful gift. Especially for yourself!

デザインが気に入って購入しました。大きさがそれなりなので決して軽くはないですが、不快なほど重くもないといった感じです。ノズルは伸縮するタイプで、長さがかなりあるので、地べたスタイル主体で基本怠け者の僕には、座った状態から一切動かずに焚火台まで届き、火起こしが出来るので重宝しています。一つ難点をあげると、マウスピース部分に煙の吸入を防止するシリコン製？のワンウェイバルブという物が付いているのですが、コイツが超じゃまになります。バルブの抵抗が強すぎて、必要以上に肺活力を要するのと、空気が通る際にベロベロピューピューと変な音がするので、引きちぎって捨てました（笑）。ちなみにバルブはつまようじか何かで簡単に取り外せまず（一度取り外したら元には戻せませんけど）。バルブを引きちぎって捨ててからは、快適に使用できています。
