I purchased this crossbow because I am interested in getting into archery, but wanted to avoid the steep learning curve of a traditional bow (or the expense of a decent compound bow). The crossbow was delivered a little ahead of time (which is pretty normal for where I live). The crossbow itself is really very good and is a tack driver at 20 yards. I haven't spent much time using it at 40 yards yet, but from what I have seen so far it will work very well. It is relatively heavy to cock using the supplied cocking tool, but is not so heavy that a 'normal sized human' can't caulk it. I have used it in temperatures as low as minus 10 degrees Celsius and have had no issues with it (IE: limbs making cracking sounds, trigger mechanism not working properly, ect.). I am relatively new to this and have not compared this crossbow against other more expensive or powerful crossbows. The optic that comes with the bow is fully functional, albeit quite basic. I did end up changing it out for another optic that has a more 'upscale' reticle. Overall, I am very satisfied with this crossbow and can definitely recommend it.

the picture shows string damper and picture of it was Explorer 385. I when I got it was Stalker 385 with is the same crossbow but less the string dampers. I messaged the seller and he said he make it right with me and send me string dampers. I'm still waiting to get them. I love the crossbow so far very accurate. can't wait to hunt with it.
